I thought it was instructive last night that when we needed a hooker that Schneider played the role.

Surely emergency hooker is the first duty on the 14 job descriptions, and it seems that Ivan prefers Schneider over Cole.
Ivan will 100% pick BS and I don’t think it makes that much difference.

But I’d pick Cole over BS, but it’s not a hill I’d ever die on.

If Nathan went down in a game against anyone but Melbourne at say 12-12 at half time we should still win with Bradley

Soni Luke is a better option in the 14. Played a heap of 9, can play in the halves and can kick further than 25m. A 14 looks like is only used for injury cover, so why not pick someone who offers something.

Yep,
But if we lose Kenny early I think we are in trouble. I like BS, but he’s down on form at 7 and isn’t a 9. Personally I’d have Cole, TT or Soni ahead of him. But that’s just my opinion, I don’t have access to game plans, injury reports etc.

I wonder if Nathan was to finger someone's behind if he'd be dropped for two years 🤔

Agree.

Once retired, he would join Channel 9 (or Fox) working 6 months of the year, live on Corporate gigs and Sporty lunches, endorsements, more than he could earn for a year or 2 playing elsewhere.

The after career opportunities would be a lifetime of income and stressing it would be barely classified as "work".
If mumblers and bumblers like Joey Johns, Brad Fittler, Steve Roach, Mark Carroll etc etc can get a gig on the two networks, then Nathan can get his own show.

He's an articulate speaker who doesn't have to rely on comments about back in the day thuggery and sayings like "it wouldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding" to get a point across.

Nathan going to Union would be like Albo admitting he's made a mistake...and that ain't gonna happen.

A bit of news and rumours around this morning.

Daine Laurie would like to stay another year. Even though the club told him he wouldn't be retained. Ivan said after the Bulldogs game he would like to keep Daine.

Soni Luke linked to Catalans

As much as he's probably a nice guy and he definitely has skills theres limited spaces and cap to spend. They've gone and bought a stack of young halves to develop and a couple of promising fullback coming through all right at the age to start building Laurie is running out of room and needs to find a spot in another nrl team but fullback is a pretty stacked position

Still do, has to be seen before acted upon though, all good in this case as the screen shot hits the mark. Don't know much about the guy, hopefully he goes well.

Yeah the screenshot is sweet by me. Just want to know its not someone just posting whatever.
