Was looking at our 2022 season and our defence, especially out wide, was pathetic and I have no idea how we made the g/f. Look at our D now, the whole line slides in unison out wide and looks a lot more cohesive.

The problem is he holds all the power, and no one wants him. If we pay him out, it hits our cap for all of 2026, and you can’t negotiate with a tight-arse malingerer like him—he’ll demand every cent.

I'm saying we can pay him out as much as he needs to accept a lower offer from another club. It's the same as paying him to stay until a given month and then him leaving with no payout. You don't need to pay out the entire remainder of the contract. You pay him out whatever he agrees to. Whether he goes to a new club now or in February, what he agrees to will probably depend on what the gaining club is willing to pay.

I'd say it was injuries that cost him his job, especially Moses'. After ten years without a premiership there needs to be a scapegoat, and any misfortune will be blamed on the coach. As you say, it happens everywhere eventually. The Tigers keep letting go of coaches and don't improve. Cleary and Maguire have both won premierships since leaving Wests so it wasn't the coach, but someone has to be the scapegoat. The coach is the only club official most fans ever see.

Souths initially offered 2 years but have since upped the offer. Cam Murray is his best mate too since they were kids and Keaon loves Uncle Wayne!

Yes but what you are not counting on is our secret weapons. We have up our sleeves Jim’s mowing service and Trolley boy MON. Once he sits down with these two experts in recruitment , Souths won’t know what hit em. These guys would make Gould seem like a piece of shit. if there’s a deal to be won, THESE GUYS DON’T LOSE!!
