Really?

I said 3 or 4 years ago charlie was a nsw cup player or sl player at best.

Some on here thought he was going to be better than edwards and be better than god but in reality he has never had whats required to cut the mustard in the nrl.. ppl rated him because they thought he was quick but unfortunately for charlie he is quick over 100m not 40 like you need to be in the nrl..

I remember there was talk on here years back when him and laurie were fighting it out for the fb role in the juniors that they were both equally as quick over the 100m and finished neck and neck..

I think tago is probs faster over 20- 40m than both..

He will do well in the sl.. hes a good finisher but he lacks the physicality to be an nrl player and always has.

You have had some shockers over the years.

You and franklin thought nath was a 9..

Didn't back kenny.

Its fine to be wrong. Gosh inwas wromg about garner..i bagged that signing x100... hes been brilliant.

I think something we can both take out of it is ivan and his team are the best to judge where players are at and who needs to be in the team..

For years youve bagged tago but in the big games hes been sooo awesome for us..

Same as martin..

Ive been guilty of it this year.. i was heavily critical of smith and henry in the first 10 or so rounds.. theyve both been very very good since.

Maybe ivan and his team know this squad way better than us keyboard warriors give him credit for..

Ive never been a Nathan is a 9 guy mate. I have said he'd be the best one in the game though

I do like Staines and always saw him as a nsw cup/ fringe nrl player. I guess I’m surprised maybe because of his age? I’ve always looked at SL as the comp where NRL players go to live out their twilight years, kind of like a pound for senior dogs, you know? Without the euthanasia course.

I have got to stop posting after Panthers games and wine.

Nice to see Billy Burns getting on the scoreboard tonight with one of his trademark clever lines. Was waiting for him to spill the lollies but it never happened. He was over the moon too.

2019 wasn't a good year for everyone when he was here. 2020 tricky as well with a reduced season and our stacked squad.

But Jack is 30 next year. He keeps getting chances because he is capable. You only get so many in the NRL.

Jack should have played a lot more NRL games than he has. He was gifted athletically his speed trials over 40 metres when he was with us were close to best in club. I’m not convinced he was fully deserving of the bad wraps he got from the officials during his time with the Panther's. He was also a really nice kid, typical country boy.
