No idea what premiership winner could return, probably someone lik Momo. Definitely could see Burton moving but he will get big offers, no way would he be coming back.

Looking at the players that have left the club and won a premiership.

Momirovski - Retired middle of last season.
Burton - Unless a half leaves I don't see it.
Luai - Gone for good.
Api - Gone for good.
Fish - No.
Capewell - Getting on. Would be 34 in 2027.
Spencer- Maybe. Was linked for a return to us at the start of the season.
May - Tigers seem more likely.
Kikau - Wants to stay at Dogs.
Staines- No. Was unsigned months ago and we didn't sign him.
Crichton - No. Just extended for a lot more money.
Salmon -Maybe.
Turuva Seems happy at the Tigers.

Salmondo could be one. Turuva id consider surplus hes not getting in the side over Alamoti or Bizza. Honestly Tyrone jumps out as most likely from that list.

Tyrone May would be a pretty decent 14 considering how many positions he covers. Has been killing it in the Super League also, not saying I want it to happen but if it’s a good fit for the club then so be it. Even with his troubled past he is a much better player than the 14 we previously had wouldn’t you say.

Careful mate, mentioning the Mays gets the locals angry

Id not be shocked if it were Spencer also tho dont see how we fit him in. I think the roosters paid starting rep prop money for him and may be regretting it. Whyte is the better player and younger, he is their long term starter with Collins still there. Couple of really good middles coming through also.

Now did the article actually say if it was first grade or not

Tyrone May would have to be a million to one. The Panthers are done with the May's their future lies elsewhere.

Spencer would be the one I would think. Roosters want him to be a starting prop and it hasn't been working. It would be apt for the Roosters to move him on with others in order to sign a big name forward like Tino.

Fido is a much better footballer now than when he last played for us.

However he has bulked up a bit and is now a second rower/lock and doesn't belong in the outside backs even as emergency cover.

With Garner on the bench to cover centre, he could be ok as emergency five eighth or hooker.

He doesn't. Unless one of our halves go. There will be plenty of rival teams offering him half money. Perth for one.Why come here for less and play out of position?

Kikau I read wanted to remain at the Dogs.

Cross Luai, Api and Crichton out. Turuva seems happy.

Spencer makes more sense. He doesnt fit in there. Highly probable Henry, Sorro and Garner depart. Giving us an opportunity to recruit an experienced forward. To help the young kids coming through.

I thought about Spencer but can you carry both him and Patea in the 17?

So all these targeted signings for NSW CUP. Has me wondering. Has the junior well dried up? Or more the ones coming through are a few years away?

I think we can. I dont think Patea has a small motor like Spence, I see Patea all things going well turning into a genuine starting prop.

I've only seen a handful of times so I am a poor judge. He just looked unfit and built for shorter stints. But it is probably silly of me to say that. He is 20yld and every forward struggles for long minutes and fitness when first get into NRL.
