I reckon Cole would be a good pickup for the Bears. Hes not the complete package but hes a tough kid with a good attitude by all accounts. Deserves a good shot at NRL level that he wont get here. The kind of player they should be targeting.

It's worked for the likes of Jaemon Salmon. Too slow and not fit enough for outside backs/halves.

Id throw him at hooker and see how he goes. He would add value if could. Give Kenny a rest and can cover halves and centre.
He is a far better defender then Cogger.
I dont think he is good enough to start but can be a top 30 player for sure

I don’t begrudge Lomax getting a start somewhere else when / if this sorted out. In the meantime, I support the action the Eels have taken.

As far as I'm aware there is alot about the systems in place to keep the NRL 'competitive' that have never been tested in an Australian court.

Lomax and his team could threaten to potentially blow up the salary cap to get a deal done.

Yes I am ok for him to go. But the 300k transfer fee should be applied to Storms cap and come off our cap. 300k if not off cap is no benefit when the club made 24mill in 2024 and 18 mill in 2025. Small change
