Yeah look that wasn't perfect but what a shot in the arm to start with a win. The most important thing I can see from the off season is that they're found some belief again.

It really shows the class of Dylan and KP that they could go out there and perform together like that with basically no time together on the field - barely even training together. Very exciting to see them grow together.

Coach has no clue.
Brown is a 6 not a 7.
Cowboys by 46 and the Knights to be HUMILIATED for the world to see.

I really hope anyone here who took our trial form as evidence of that we'd produce today has learnt their lesson

Very good first win. Sharpe gone after 20 and we blew a few genuine try scoring chances. Pack punched above its weight. They also fought back from a couple of momentum swings which is rare.

Cowboys look fairly ordinary though for mine. Not much doing outside of Dearden.

One game mate, too early to claim victories either way
lol, old mate starts celebrating after one game and criticizing everyone else for having a different opinion after... one other game. Druss, we won mate - enjoy it with the rest of us. lol.

I think one of the big question marks going into the year was can the spine work? I believe the answer is that with KP running the show, it absolutely can. Still big quesiton marks over the foward pack long term, but they held their own today - so that's another tick for now. The third big question for me was - will the new coach make an impact? Well, I think we saw a much easier team to support today than we have seen since 2023. Tick, tick, tick.

There was some shocking decision making at times out there, especially from our outside backs. They need to have calmer heads and I hope more experience attacking with the footy will get them there.

All in all, I'm chuffed with that. Dylan wasn't explosive today but his work moving the ball around was class and his long kicking was something we haven't had since Mullen. Really happy, there's a good chance I'll enjoy this year of footy. The era of AOB will quickly become a distant memory.

Big occasion with the opener in Vegas and trying to impress a new coaching staff hopefully played a part and it will calm down as we get into the season 🤞
