RED V DRAGON IN LAS VEGAS 2026

Very proud of all the guys in the Red V today.
Atkinson probably made a mistake in going for glory instead of a big bomb to keep the Flogs deep in their own half.
Golden Point is a ridiculous, glorified game of force-em-backs and it should be done away with. A draw is a draw. Surely, the online betting boffins can work out a way to make money out of a drawn game?
3, 2, 1 for the biggest w*nker on the field goes to:
3 Crichton
2 Atkins
1 Kikau

Flanno should say something but even more importantly Watsford needs to go ballistic. These rubbish calls have been going on for years and if we expect to get anything out of this year our CEO needs to speak up now and be blunt about it.

Cop whatever the NRL think they can enforce and then take them to court. Given the amount of betting associated with the NRL I doubt the NRL would want the spectre of match fixing being aired. Or the idea circulated that the great Vegas experiment was rigged.

Thoughts:
So proud of the boys
Dug deep and played fantastic, gave everything
Coaching and team management (use of the interchange, subs etc.) very good, much improved on last year.
We will be better when we get Jacob L back and Dylan E. Our young forwards are amazing.
Suli is a BIG worry.
We will have a good year I think.

Instead of celebrating a hard earnt win we got shafted again.
My heart goes out to every Dragons fan at allegiant today. You don't deserve what the NRL and referees have just done to you today.
It makes me f**king sick and it's disgusting how you've been treated.
Against all odds the boys had a red hot crack and we had our chances. This is one of the games I am pissed off we lost but also proud of the effort. It's only round 1 we will gain alot of confidence and experience from this one.

Good signs. Bulldogs had so much more good possession, it bodes well that despite that we could easily have won it.

There’s not a lot of superstars but it has the makings of a superstar team.
Agree 100%, last year we would likely have cracked and there is a bit more mongrel out there, backing each other up when a 'stink' is brewing.

There was never a sign of them giving up.

No superstars and I agree that they could brand themselves as a team that is quirky and tough to beat and develop into that type of team where the whole is > the sum of the parts.

Some good signs with our defence and the fact we never gave up on the game. Against their compressed defence we never once spread it wide to go around them. And did very little creative work to release our back line. Thought bringing on Matt Feagai when Suli was HIA was a good move. I’m not really a fan, but he did well to cover for Suli and then Tu. The 6 man bench helped us tonight.

Special mention to Setu Tu, he was peppered all game and he copped some hits what a tough player.

Atkinsons kicking game was a massive improvement on previous years he landed almost all of them in their 10m.

Round 1 so we will gain so much from that and I hope the boys know the fans are proud of them.
