RED V DRAGON IN LAS VEGAS 2026

What a tense game. Against one of the comp favs this year our often mooted wooden spooners displayed real grit and a lot of positives. Thought we should have won it, just couldn’t ice the long range field goals. While our defence was good our attack looked pedestrian at times. Needs a shake up. Our discipline let us down but likely real enthusiasm played a part in that. Hopefully the players on report just get fines if any sanction comes and Val is not too badly injured. Onwards and upwards!

That bastard came at Couchman with his forearm raised ! However the ref. Never hesitated in blowing his whistle for the penalty for the dogs .

A big hearty congratulations to the boys for their effort , but unfortunately the referee had other ideas .
I mean Suli copped and elbow to the head and conceded a penalty for it so this is the nonsense we were up against, Dogs are the new media darlings and Crighton can do no wrong so obviously they'll get the rub of the green hell they lauded Galvin as "brave" for leaving the Tigers it's absolutely sickening.

Dogs always have and always will buy their success plain and simple

Three takeaways for me.

1. Ryan Couchmann looks like an absolute winner. Give that bugger more firsty grade.

2. Atkinson was pretty underwhelming today....and seems hampered too. If Reed continues to knock on that door, you might have to let him in.

3. Your boys were very hard done by with the ref today. While don't think you deserved to win the game today, I certaintly think you didn't deserve to lose it. A draw would have been a just result.

Cooper Cronk is spot on - "we need more Dynamic runners, linebreakers. Our style of play is too many traditional sets - one out and kick the ball long. Maybe we need to give a little bit more onus to Su'a and Leilua".
Cooper can go pleasure himself. I thought our game management was first rate. The big difference were some fn outrageous ref calls.

As a rule I resist blaming officiation for a loss but this game was sooooo blatant. There were multiple calls that were seriously dubious to say the least. The last penalty against the Dragons was simply disgraceful. It made it so obvious that the fix is in. So sad. Not what I have always proudly supported the game for.

The 2 points is always great to get and I would be mealy mouthed if I didn't say that the ref did play an inappropriate part in the loss. However, we had our chances and it was there to win.

If they build on the fighting spirit of today the 2 points will be neither here nor there later in the season.

Given our lack of depth, injuries will be a huge threat to us as the season progresses.

No spoon for us is about as far as I will go at this early stage but today was refreshing given the loss to a team that I really, really, really don't like.

Hang in there👍

Just listened to the press conference and honestly you can tell how proud Flannos was, he mentioned the horrible calls etc but at the end of the day we don't get the 2 points but us fans seen the game and I don't think any of us supporters would be disappointed in our effort tonight. I wouldn't be very proud of that effort if I was a dogs fan they got the rub of the green and then some and only won by 1 point in the last 30sec on the back of a bad call.

Fox headline, "Red V heartbreak as Bulldogs win Vegas thriller after controversial golden point call"
Nothing changes every year same crap, mark my words, Illawarra shiela's will start enthusiastically, lose a couple by a point or 2, lose a couple by controversy, a few players will get injured, then the rot will set in, Bottom four team 1000%.

Hard to gauge from that game really, although I hear what you’re saying. We hardly had the ball in their half
