Fox headline, "Red V heartbreak as Bulldogs win Vegas thriller after controversial golden point call"
Nothing changes every year same crap, mark my words, Illawarra shiela's will start enthusiastically, lose a couple by a point or 2, lose a couple by controversy, a few players will get injured, then the rot will set in, Bottom four team 1000%.
I dont care if we were brave we lost.
We cant afford the lose these types of games let alone any.
They say things even themselves out.
Bullshit 2025 2026 both v Dogs.
When do we get our turn?

Cooper Cronk is spot on - "we need more Dynamic runners, linebreakers. Our style of play is too many traditional sets - one out and kick the ball long. Maybe we need to give a little bit more onus to Su'a and Leilua".
Our game plan was Maryball. It was never going to pay off. We need to score points and we ain't going to do that playing Maryball. The dogs played faster and wider.
To go all the way to Vegas and fkin lose in that fashion and to those mongrels is truly disappointing. It's going to be a shit flight home.

The one thing I hate more than losing close games is losing to a dud call. I'd really like to know our win/lose record under Atkins....in all fairness, a draw would have been fair. The positive is we gave the Bull*ogs a hell of scare - and that with a rooky halfback and more than few players that haven't played for4-6 months! Dumb moments aside, if we can play with the same intensity displayed today for most of this season, we have as good a chance of any as making the playoffs. The only way we are going to shake off the easybeats rap is to win but we need to keep our cool!

That's the issue we can't play with thst intensity most weeks.
Because we knew we had 2 weeks off afterwards.

Positives aside (a lot to take from that game defensively)

Attack wise really lacking 1 maybe 2 forwards with a little bit of go forward .
Struggling to make it past half way each set. Cant keep defending for 60 minutes like last year..

As I’ve said above Kerr with 27m and guler with 69m as experience players is poor.

compared to our juniors (and smaller frames)

Toby - 171
Ryan - 93
Stewart - 74.

Would have thought Sele would’ve got more minutes he came on for second stint and did well. Maybe just getting more minutes into his legs.

Thought sua just hasn’t been injecting himself as of late (end of last year) capable of much much more

setu Tu did his job great! Safe under the high ball and great try!

As a long time follower of this once great , I can assure you that once they play a good game and you think they’ve turned a corner, they’ll play like busteds for 5 games straight.
