Good to see the crowd number has grown given cost of the trip and what is happening in the world and the USA in particular.

Has the NRL come out and said how many tickets were bought by locals (excluding ex-pats) and if the number has grown from year 1? That would be interesting if such data is available to see if the game is getting any traction.

It's the excuse that most diehards probably used to either go with mates or justify it to their family/partners. Just not sure too many casuals would have used the same excuse. All I am saying is a casual or non-league fan is not waiting for a rugby league game in Vegas to combine the two.
Yeah sure, if there's only one type of person on earth and that exactly how they behave.
Perfect. Casual fans of sports don't go to events.

Assuming the Warriors don't have anymore sections to release, there is officially only 2 tickets left for Friday's match against the Roosters at Mt Smart.

Storm v Eels has had a surge of sales since yesterday's Vegas match, match is trending for low-20Ks, which is a significant improvement on what it looked like last week. Not seeing it get to the 23,369 that the Storm enjoyed last year against the Eels on a Sunday afternoon, but hopefully won't be too much less.

Sharks only have 3 seats + the hill left at Ocean Protect Stadium for their Saturday evening game against the Titans. Will be interesting to see if Shark Park's capacity this year will be closer to the 15K it showed early on last year, or the 12-13K it showed towards the end of the year.

Hopefully we can get to 200K total for the round
average of 25K if we divide Vegas by 2
Or 28,571 if its counted as an event & we divide the round by 7

will see lots of crowds under the 17500 capacity , some by plenty
not all members can attend all games & if there is no GA .. we will have empty seats
Maybe they can start a program where full season members can sell thier seat for the game?

Some forecasts that Brisbane will be a lake for Dolphins v Bunnies on Sunday. BOM not on board with that (yet), still saying showers, 0-25 mm.

precipitation every day from Thursday in Brisbane
but unlike most other places where it would be considered heavy rain.......20 to 25mm is a shower for them & over in an hour

They might have to start thinking of moving bigger games to Allianz … the Roosters like to share

Manly and Sharks, and to a lesser extent Dragons and Tigers will keeping falling behind money wise without considering moving those event games to larger stadiums. I'm sure if full houses continue, they will have no choice or be locking out too many fans due to capacity and pricing that needs to reflect the demand for tickets.

If the fans will travel then sure …makes sense

Well they would be testing the waters with a game or two a year. And they would need to be the right games. Maybe even a Sharks v Manly one. Battle of the beaches on neutral turf. But in reality it would probably need to be Souths/Roosters or Bulldogs that they face at Moore Park which is the logical place for both to take a game away from home. and ensure they get plenty of away fans.

Souths would be best ….i don’t know why you would play a team on their home ground as one of your home games …. that would be Wests Tigerish …..

Cause that's the easiest ground to get to for both sets of supporters. Bulldogs fans would travel in droves to a game there as well. Sharks and Manly would need to accept that it's the home ground most likely used for finals for both teams, so making it a second home ground is just a natural fit.
