Apparently, there is a current dispute between Board members for either Young or Hornby. And if an agreement can't be reached, a third candidate in Brad Arthur, may be chosen.

Don’t imagine much change this week and the argument will be the short period of time for getting combinations. A couple of adjustments….
Guler gone, replaced by LPT. He starts on reserves with either Laurie or Kerr to start. L.
Holmes switched back to his preferred side or plays on the wing.
Tu is the other winger. CT comes back via the reserves.
KFlanno starts at 7. But he moves to 9 and gives Cookie a break. When this happens, Read comes on. If Read is going well, when Cookie comes back, Flanno goes off.

the real changes come for our next game after the bye with a bit of time for them to get embedded into the team.

Unfortunately I can’t see anything less than a 50 burger. We will not be able to compete aerially, with both Marky Mark and Toupo to have a field day. DCE and Walker will torture us with their kicks, both long and short, and Teddy will chalk up 200+ metres mainly thru the middle of the ruck.

For us to at least offer something different Reed must play as a starter to give us an extra kicker in general play and some unpredictability. Starting with Kyle will play in the Chooks hand and pose no threat whatsoever. I would even consider playing both LKT and Reed in the halves, they have a combination. I would also like to see Sele start, at least he has leg drive. Guler and Blocker can play reserve grade.

Roll on team list Tuesday. Here’s hoping it won’t be the usual cut and paste Tuesday, including the number changes.

If Dean Young was the defence coach and now interim, and you watch Holmes miss 12 tackles and conceded 4 or so tries singlehandedly on the back of doing nothing all year, you simply don't pick him in Tuesday's team. You send a message about standards for once.

Let's see if Young has any gumption to make some significant changes.
Yep. Tell Holmes to take a week off and work out whether he wants to be here or not.

I agree with this, I sense he has known the writing is on the wall for flanno and his commitment has not been there.
In reality Holmes, Cook and Gutho should go and do the UK farewell tour, they all still would offer plenty to the slower game speed over there. Although I think Cook is still up to a number 14 position for 1 more year, playing 15 mins either side of halftime.
Those 3 would free up a lot of salary to accelerate our rebuild…pundits saying 5-10 years to get back to playing a GF.
I believe that is clickbait, if we get a quality 1 and 7 along with our young forwards and Keaon I think we could turn it around in 2-3 years when our young forwards are early/mid twenties.
Biggest change we need is a game plan, we are so boring to watch and defend against.
We need creativity!

Is throwing Reed his debut in a game where we are likely to get smashed by 50 + a responsible coaching move?
I'd much rather we get through this upcoming massacre and then start fresh after the bye with some more adventurous team selections.
It doesn’t really matter, we will get flogged regardless. Our issues are much deeper than who plays 7 or coach.
We have a fullback frightened of contact
No speed on the edges
No direction from the halves
A 34 year old hooker who has to play 80 mins
3 or 4 young forwards who have to lead beyond their years.
Some useless forwards that don’t even make 50 metres a game.
Applying the most boring game plan in the comp. A winger hit up, 3 forwards hit up against the middle wall. An inside ball to an edge back rower back into the above mentioned wall. Then bomb with limited chase. I won’t be watching, I’ll be playing golf.
