I suspect it was an oversight. It's easy to name Vatuvei at #2 because he's the first winger you think of, even though he actually plays at #5.

Good logic there, Richy. But I think starting berths have to be earned. With it being the 1st game of the season, Rapira gets it by default, since Tuimavave is injured. Royal, Packer, Poching & the rest will have to earn it.

I guess later on in the season, Cleary will start applying your logic. We'll just have to see how they go. I'm looking at Royal to do good things, Rapira will need to bring his 'A' game this season.
