"On July 18, Floyd “Mainstream Money” Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez meet on a PPV card billed as “Number One/Numero Uno” at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The bout was officially announced today. “Credentials don’t lie and the record speaks for itself,” said Mayweather. “When it comes to July 18, I don’t need to tell you what I’m going to do. A small man will never retire me. I’m here to stay."

What odd scheduling, I assumen monday night in Vegas? was planning to watch it but tues morning here, no chance for me.

Mayweather was too fast, too strong and his defense was awesome.

Highlight of the night was after the fight though, too bad that idiot interviewer (Kellerman?) ruined it. Bernard Hopkins is a bit of a tool aswell.

Ducking Mosley maybe? I think Mayweather will be waiting for the winner of the Cotto v Pac Man fight though.

It was definitely on Saturday night in the US. I watched it live at 2.30pm on Sunday, Australian time.

Joke of a fight... Marquez went up 2 weight divisions to take this fight... and Mayweather was still 2 pounds over the agreed weight.

thats absolute rubbish IMO... if he cant make the fight weight he should have forfeited his whole purse. not just 600K or so...

typical Mayweather though everything has to be in his favour...

thats why Pacquiao V Mayweather wont happen... Freddy Roach is too smart to fight Mayweather at the weight Mayweather will insist.

Too much money in a Pac vs. PBF for the fight not to happen, thats assuming Pacquiao gets passed Cotto, which is definitely no given. Mayweather would beat Pac up if it happens.

it depends what weight the fight goes to... anything over 144 is a joke... it it goes under that than id be really interested.
