Prob pick Kimmorley over pearce for remainder of the series just coz he has started the series but go with pearce next year, id like to see campese get given another shot and will no doubt get under the skin of the qlders, gallen adds mongrel off the bench

x2

I'd have Barrett there but just as happy with campo. I'd leave kimmorley there. He was one of the few who played with ticker tonight.

Drop:

Cooper
Gidley
Creagh
Perry
White

And Idris only because he's not origin ready

NSw selectors have to go if they dont win the series.

If they stay they should have a simple policy. The team that is picked should be players in that position only. So unless they play tahu on the left leave him out. Same as hayne watmough & they whole team. YOu play the exact position you play for your club

Lewis needs to start, Douglas or Galloway need to replace that fat nuffy Josh Perry (what a waste of space!) and I think Barrett will get the nod over Campese.
Wouldn't mind a bit of Mason off the bench, and Lyon in the centres to (unfortunately) replace Tahu. When push comes to shove, I'd much rather Cooper then Tahu.

they won't pick hindy so don't bother putting him in, they don't want blokes with passion and heart they just want show ponies.

i was tossing up between campo and baz but took campo just on the fact that i think personaly nsw need to look to the future and campo at the moment is a player i think will frustrate the sh*t out of qld with his holding down and little niggle in the play the ball also is a very tough player and needs a chance other than just one game.

and replace my white (if poore doesnt pick up) with douglas actually

That's a better team than what ran out tonight.
Mason has to be there somewhere in game 2. (never thought I'd say that).

The secret trio is Gallen, Bird, Hindmarsh.

Waterhouse should go. Lewis into the 2nd Row.
Mannah is not ready but probably wouldn't let us down, but picking him flies in the face of have extremely aggressive forwards, therefore, no.
Can't pick Poore on form.
I'd still pick White. Simply on the basis of one punch from his past, and get someone to seriously wind him up before the game.
It's time to seriously muscle up, not just talk the sh*t in the papers for a week.
Tonight was the biggest load of tissues ever dished up by NSW.

I don't think the coach should have a say IMO, the selectors pick the side then the coach gives them tactics and a game plan.

J Hayne (has to be in his preferred position)
T Tahu
J Lyon
J Morris
B Morris
T Barrett
B Kimmorley
M Weyman
R Farrah (I though Ennis initially but he showed nothing tonight, even with his teammate BK)
B White
B Creagh
N Hindmarsh (C) (Will be the reason NSW even have an inch of hope)
L Lewis

K Gidley
T Learoyd-Lars
J Poore (was there last year)
A Watmough

J Idris played well in the time he spent on field but maybe too young at this stage. M Cooper he was useless in one half, I thought he would be up to it but showed nothing in his time on the field very sad as he was a fairly solid Origin player!

Cross is another tough-nut whose been in really good form as of late... would certainly offer more then Perry.
As for Cooper - how many chances did he get to actually do something when neither he or Tahu got any ball? To say he was useless is to bag a bloke for getting an injury:roll:
Ennis will keep his position.. Farah is daylight behind him
