Just a thought on this. To me it looked like the Dragons had 3 players next to the play the ball in an attempt to block chasers. Are these guys offside or not?

They were onside when the ball was played.
They were in an offside position the moment Soward touches the ball.
From that moment they cannot interfere with a defender or else that will be obstruction.

You see tired forwards walking back all the time, or even players who over ran a play.

They never get penalised unless the player with the ball runs behind them.

By the rules the defenders can't stand in the way. That is obstruction no matter if they move or not but this is never called that way so I have no problem with it here, the problem is the knee in the back by Jeremy Smith that could have given the Tigers another set and the 5-0 penalty count early when the same indiscretions later in the game committed by the Dragons weren't penalised.

^ this.

People whinging about it need to pull their heads out of their ass. It's a contact sport, sh*t happens and it was not a deliberate set of knees in the back.
