OT: Where Is This Stadium?

St James' Park is the best stadium in the north. It only holds around 52,000 - but you get a great view from wherever you sit.

Murrayfield is brilliant when England play there - not great when we lose.

If we end up getting the World Cup in 2022, Parramatta Stadium will be upgraded. Geographically it makes sense to have a World class facility in the centre of greater Sydney.

Blacktown will be getting a stadium

We'll never have good stadiums in Australia. :(

Looks like the plans used for the proposed re-development of Hay Park Oval....."Build it and they will come"

You'll be waiting a long time

This is a much better design for Parramatta Stadium's Southern End

The new northern end Stand providing direct access via railway
which will please all patrons

Readily available on-site... a transportable stadium providing
extra seating when those all-important big games come around.

What you don't see in that picture of Murrayfield is the running track on the otherside of the stadium.

For those complaining about the stadia in Australia, many of the 'great' stadia abroad while creating a great atmosphere at certain football matches, are way behind the modern stadia in Australia.

Poor bathroom facilities, small seats, ordinary beer and catering facilites, lack of big screens. Remember that at football games, you take your seat and stay there for the half. Beer and food aren't consumed in the stands.

We dont have it to bad in Aus.

And as for the 'creative and witty chants' most of them are recycled from team to team. Same stuff at each ground, insert player x's name, team y's name etc.

If you can find places with worse beer or catering than Parra Stadium or ANZ I'd like to hear it. ANZ wins this contest hands down, but Parra is not far behind it.
