Cricket NSW selectors have named a strong squad for their opening KFC Big Bash fixture with the West End Redbacks at Adelaide Oval on Tuesday night (7pm start).
The side will be captained by Stuart Clark and features international experience in the form of Nathan Hauritz, Moises Henriques, Brett Lee, Stephen O’Keefe and David Warner.
The team has not signed an overseas player.
Those not considered for selection due to injury were Simon Katich (Achilles), Mitchell Starc (side), Josh Hazlewood (back) and Mark Cameron (hamstring strain).
Tim Armstrong is the only new face in the squad, and the rookie all-rounder from Eastern Suburbs will be in line to make his senior debut for the RTA SpeedBlitz Blues.
The squad of twelve is : (12th man to be named the night of the match)
