Deserves to be charged?

Late, attacking the legs of a kicker, whilst he is off the ground.

not too much in it, probably not worth a suspension but maybe worth a look

If he gets charges it just show how truly pathetic and piss weak the NRL is. Kickers have copped plenty worse than that all season and not even received a penalty. The Sydney centric NRL will no doubt charge him because they don't give a f**k about the game they actually only give a shit about Sydney and the pis weak broke clubs it has.

Yes, it's all a Sydney conspiracy. Sydneysiders sitting in a dark smoky room made Thaiday made that tackle.

He prob won't and shouldn't get charged IMO. But to say that worse have been let off without even a penalty is laughable. There were a few iffy calls tonight but that was a clear cut penalty.

Should be charged IMO. I'm all for pressure on the kickers but tackling a bloke in mid air, late and around the legs is highly dangerous. A week off will do the mop head some good.

It was late and it attacked the legs of a kicker in the air
the contact wasnt exactly brutal though, maybe a 90 point charge or something. But im not fussed. Penalty sufficient and any time missed would be served in the 4 nations/trials so im not sure i care if he gets charged or not

Penalty sufficient. It was late but certainly not dangerous. Compared to what they were letting go early in the season, that was nothing.

Nope, geez the game gets softer. They were told they can't shoulder charge a kicker, they were told they can't launch at the feet of a kicker and now we are saying you can't wrap your arms around a kicker and tackle them if they are jumping in the air. Seriously just tell them they all have to stand back 5 metres on the 5th and admire how high a half back can kick the ball!

Nothing in it. Thaiday was commited, and anyone who thinks that a pair of knees can bring a 100+ kilo frame to a complete stop in half a second clearly needs a wank.

One of the few ones tackles that was definitely worthy of a penalty. Worth a review in my book, especially when you consider the scenario if DCE was injured. I reckon everybody would be after Sammy T's head.

It was a dumb tackle...especially for a captain. Though he made some good captains tackles too. No suspension.

Definitely worth a penalty, but the contact was pretty soft in the end. I've seen way worse this season, both on kickers as on defenders catching a high ball.

It was a weird game by Sam. Did some good things and some silly things and it seemed he was playing front row, dummy half, half, five-eight and centre throughout the game

Didn't you know? The Broncos are a protected species? The NRL always lean over backwards for them. Thaiday most probably didn't realise that it was only Langer out injured by playing in multiple positions or didnt have the confidence in his teammates. Ha!
