What do we gain from this? As if we want to play in front of a massive round 1 Bullcheats home crowd, we owe them nothing. lol@souffs at the SFS plz

Good marketing move for the entire NRL. Play The Broncos at home round 1 and if the projections in the story are true there is two crowds of around 50,000 in round 1. Almost 100,000 fans though the gates with six more games left to play in round 1.

It would dominate the news, It would have a large build up and those bulldogs supporters can get to the game and act like really dogs in their blind hatred for the player that skipped the country to get away from them. Good to see Greenberg is on top of another massive marketing opportunity and if this is going to happen, get to happen in round 1. Rounds 2, 3 or even later gives Sonny Bill the chance to be a flop and negatively affect the crowds for what would be this marquee match up.

and that is why Uncle Nick is contemplating signing SBW.

Love him or hate him, he will put bums on seats.

Yes, he dogged Canterbury, and yes he only played 1 game in 3 when not injured, but he does generate interest, and will get the turnstiles clicking....leads to increased television coverage, membership, sponsorship, etc....

Host it at the SFS if the Chooks crack the shits, lord knows they can only fill it with opposition supporters.

ANZ would be much better though. What round did Sonny walk out on? Have the rematch in that round, exactly 5 years after he walked out.

Why would SBW want to grant favour to the club that's barred him from playing for 5 years? If anything I'd have him sit out the round.

62255 Sydney Roosters v Parramatta Stadium Australia 05-Feb-2000

Derp

 Nice try. It was a double header you numpty... Derp. Also involving St George-Illawarra and Cronulla, so I dare say that 62,000 was at best 10,000 Easts fans... Maybe
