Inglis among eight players charged

Where are these gutless ARLC people, the shoulder charge issue has been dominating the media all season and more so recently because of the Inglis issue. They had a chance to show some leadership by using Inglis as an example by dismissing his appeal and saying if you want to shoulder charge and it goes wrong you will be sidelined for a long period. But no they will continue to have their lunches and socialising.
Probably why they got rid of Gallop as at least he faced the public to address issues in the game and never went hiding, not like these jokers, absolute Bulls#*t.

Agree with you mate......the medical staff are all calling for the ban, so they obviously think its a dangerous issue.......aside from that I was watching NRL on fox last night and the so called experts alluded to the fact that Young wasnt looking forward on impact which made it worse...c'mon you have to be joking...whats a player supposed to do now when he makes a line break and is looking from side to side for his support players, look straight ahead and throw one of those stupid no look passes because he fears his head may be taken off .....just heard on radio that Inglis was supposed to have put on twitter ... to his supporters words to the effect thanks for all your support just a bad outcome.....he has to be kidding the only bad outcome was Dean Young laying concussed on the deck and him only getting 3 weeks......

If Young wasn't looking forward which is true then why shoulder charge? Obviously he is looking to pass so a tackle around the chest would have been enough to stop his progress.

Spot on SM......I still believe it was a grubby action and no one will ever convince me otherwise......

Inglis's lawyer argued "that Young had turned side-on as he looked for support and only became front-on to Inglis just before impact. Thus Young had unfortunately and unavoidably contributed to how this tackle eventuated"

Have you ever heard so much crap? It was Young's fault because he was actually playing footy, looking for support.

And still no concern expressed for Young from anyone from the Bunnies. They are all tools who are only concerned with one thing.

Mat Adamson, another d#*khead said on sportsline also that it was partly Young's fault because he wasn't watching, and Inglis shouldn't have been given anything.Even more cowardly by Inglis. What crap.

Wow 3 weeks for a shoulder plus elbow to the head got off lightly IMO.

There was no elbow contact, it was nothing but shoulder and chest.

Didn't deserve 5 weeks, did deserve 3. Unfortunately that means he comes back against the sharks.

Dean Young is ok and St George lost. Would of happened regardless if Inglis was sin-binned or not.
