We currently have four players who are active on this list.

Dustin Fletcher has now entered the top ten, although you'd think this may be his last year.

Brent Harvey needs 90 games to take Tuck's record, and this is not out of the realms of possibility, given he could play another 4-5 seasons to do it.

Goodes would need 5 full seasons to get there, so he's a chance, although I suspect he'll have more and more problems with injury from here.

Black is surely in his last year.

Its a tough one...

Any of Dick Reynolds, Ted Whitten or Leigh Matthews could get the nod.

Of course, if you had a side like that, it wouldn't much matter, because you've got leadership on tap across the park.

And well done to Luke Power for making it into the club, as its 66th member.

Chris Langford getting the nod over AFL Team of the Century Fullback Stephen Silvagni? A bit harsh CyberKev? ;)

Not really, its just my opinion against the opinions of those who chose the side.

I'd have several fullbacks in ahead of Silvagni had they also played the 300.

Both Silvagni and Langford had good records against quality opponents over a long period. The big difference for mine, is that one player had to continually grab, scrag and genius his opponent in contests, while the other one preferred to continually back his ability against that of his opponent.

I'm not having a go and you're well entitled to your opinion and it's awesome that you came up with those sides.

It's just that most people would have played Silvagni ahead of Langford - but good on you for sticking him in there.

I didn't think you were having a go, mate.

A lot of people would disagree with me and I'm okay with that.

Interestingly, I've spoken with no shortage of Carlton people who don't even think Silvagni is the best fullback the Blues have had.

There are also some hawk tragics who maintain that Moore was the better fullback at Hawthorn.

David Dench didn't make it to 300 games, but I rate him as the best fullback. Along with Peter Knights, Dench changed key defensive play and was the prototype for the attacking and rebounding key defenders in the contemporary age. Getting named captain of that exceedingly strong North side in the 1970s (at the age of 20), including some very big and experienced names, suggested he would be a special player and he was certainly that.

Scarlo would probably be one of the best but he may not even make it to 300 if he doesn't play again, then again I may be a bit bias.

Sylvani was good but I tend to agree with Kev on the fact that the older people who saw Langford play would probably pick him ahead of Sylvani

Simon Black, what a champ! Sorry to see he won't be improving his place on the list.

Fletcher... Another year?! Tuck was in better touch when Hawthorn forced him into retirement. Fletcher would need to play every game to hit 400.

Brent Harvey is now only 64 games shy of Tucky and could get there with three big, largely injury free seasons.

Matthew Pavlich the only new member of the club in 2014.

Twas indeed a shame that Lenny Hayes & Dean Cox fell shy of joining.

Corey Enright & Nick Reiwoldt will be chances to join in 2015, although the latter has little injury wriggle room.

At the top end, Fletcher will pass 400 in his farewell season (surely) unless ASADA matters intervene, and Brent Harvey should also pass 400 in his seemingly relentless push toward the games record.

3 new names are added to the list in 2015 - Enright, Dal Santo & Cornes.

Next year will see some big movement with as many as 7 players capable of getting the 300 up.

Pavlich can move past 350 in what looms as his final season, but will not be a top ten games player, as Goodes has finished-up.

A remarkable season for Brent Harvey to play all possible 25 games at his age and 18 more in 2016 will see him go out as the all-time games record holder (a record that may never be broken).

Well done to Fletcher for getting his 400 up, although he did need carrying to the mark.

Freo will be pushing hard to the hoop for him to go around again, given their inability to obtain a fresh kpp during the trade period. 22 games was a good return this year, but he wasn't the player he once was, and didn't seem to have much in the tank.
