Manly star Brett Stewart arrested, not charged

In other words, a non-story. But that's what hate media - 2GB and the Telegraph - do. They start a story, do some photo-shopping like a Pinnochio nose or similar, and before you know it, they create public enemy number one. They then set their toothless mouth-breathing readers/listeners onto their victim like a pack of hyenas and bingo! It usually starts with a poll of some sort but the "letters to the editor" come through pretty quickly. And those wanting to pile on can always get straight through to Jonesy and/or Ray. They have their story for the next cycle. At the end of that cycle, when the victim often successfully sues for damages, and the apology is buried on page 46 or read at a thousand words a minute ten seconds before the news, they go looking for their next victim. These days, they mostly go to the muslim/dole bludger/aboriginal/union well but a nothing story about a footballer is always good at this time of year.

This has been going on for a long time (it's what makes tabloid work) and it will go on as long as there is a gullible, stupid public who fall for it every single time. God knows what they would do with their lives if 2GB or the Telegraph ever went out of business.

I wonder where Brett Stewart gets his news these day?. Think he has woken up yet? Or is he one of those who just buys the Tele "for the racing form"?

In other words, you're a Manly fan.

So after a relatively quiet 2012 in which there was almost no off-field controversies, comparred to other years, it looks like the NRL is back on form. Now we just need Ben Barba, as the new "face of the game" to get himself into strife. Not saying he would mind you but it would fit the trend.

Probably some dope thinking he was tough picking on an NRL player and then Brett Stewart got the shits and layed the smack down on him

Good job Brett

He was let go because he had to belt one of the two rigs who stalked him during his court hearings. They heard no and it registered as moo (tacid acceptance of sexual advance in rig speak) to them.

Self preservation. NOT GUILTY

That's the pic right there.
Gallop should've told him to get over it or f**k off. LoL

Yeah, some random nutcase tries to extort money from him, send him to gaol, and brand him a sex offender for life. Gallop's response was to hang him out to dry.

You are a f**king spastic!

Like Brett Stewart is the only person ever wronged by Gallop.
He's a whiny bitch.
