Fu*k yes!!!!!

Being at the game tonight was awesome. I was so pumped to finally get another win up.
Roberts made a couple of errors, but, he made
Blake Ayshford his bitch tonight. Well done Benny, one of your best performances tonight.

Fu*k this feels goooooooooood!!

I disagree with Roberts.

He is a diamond runner with great footwork, acceleration and balance. I don't think any of our players has his acceleration from a standstill, not even Hayne

The kicking and passing parts of his games is the rocks and diamonds part but that's partly due to his brain overthinking things.

Just let him catch the ball and run and as I have said ages ago, he could be a Hodges.

If you use him as a long kicker, but not the playmaker, a reckon that will work too.

He craps up under pressure but if you give him some time, he can be that magic player.

However, there is no room for him next year so good luck whoever gets him.

He showed tonight he can be a brilliant attacking centre, but his defence is nowhere near good enough to play there. Lucky for him (and us) he didn't have to defend at centre tonight.

I dont get the "Ben Roberts Love" from last night. Yes he set up the winning try but there was at least one occasion where his "turnstile defence" escorted a Tiger into score. No more than 5 out of 10 for mine.
I though Sio went very well last night. Best game Ive seen from him in ages.
I shouldnt laugh but how bad is it that the club announces the resigning of Willy T as he is about to withdraw from the game. Just shows how good (or bad) we are at these things. I guess 3 games in a row was a big enough effort. I really do hope Willy can string more games together. He is a class act but I do remained concerned he will spend more time off the field than on.
Whatever we are paying Mr Hayne he is worth every penny.
All in all a terrible game. Im sure the lead would have continued to change hands the longer the game went.
So as it stands, the SIGNIFICANT forward issues the team currently has will be improved by Mr Mossop and Mr Peats? I think we need much more and better to be anything next year. Hock would have added the mongrel the forwards needed possibly. Oh well. Fingers crossed.

I guess the praise heaped on Roberts is solely due to his attack - nobody has praised his defence, and rightly so.

But in attack, he was a beast - one of the most dangerous on the park.

Apart from that stupid pass from Roberts, he took the line more occassions and did well in attack.

I really have to give it Mullaney, he played well last night in attack also, apart from the knock on in goal.

Last night when they made mistakes, they made up for it later on, shows the commitment from the boys last night, they never gave up.

And yes it was against a struggling Wests Tigers team, but its a win, and Im happy we got the two points.

Last night I didnt realise Paulo could kick goals, but only found out this morning he used to kick a few for Penruff.

Good kick from the sideline.

Such a sad state of affairs when one can be praised for being better than usual in attack but still horrible in defence. I do get it though. We have so little to get excited about these days. Sad nonetheless.
How awful is that Ray Hadley. Andrew Voss was exceptional compared to this guy. I hate his bully boy antics. Id be happy if someone gave it to him one day. and who gives a f**k aboy the lollies. OMG he is simply awful. If its not a Parra game I deat set to watch a game he is calling. Dont Channel 9 see this?
PLEASE Channel 9 get rid of this goose.

Fair point.

Also watching the replay on Fox, this a great time to put the mute button on.

Hadley, Lockyer and Fittler commentating. ](*,)

Hadley is a suck up to Dave Gyngell, ever since that statue issue in 2011. Supposedly he is the 2nd caller to Ray Warren, but we've had Matt Thompson and Tim Gilbert call on occassions.

Im a fan of Fittlet to be honest but he needs direction and he aint gettin none of that from Horse Head Hadley. Lockyer needs to stick with the Brisbane games but then again in better company he is not the worst Ive heard.
Laurie Daley, Garry Freeman are far worse in my opinion.
Tim Gilbert wasnt too bad I thought but Rabbs and Vossy are my favourites.

Hmmm, now who could have EVER foretold that Ben Roberts could be an effective ball-runner playing at Centre?! Who could possibly ever had such foresight to suggest such a thing oh some 12+ months ago....??

Roberts' defence will always be a liability - BUT if he MUST be in the team ever, the smart money would be on taking the ball out of his hands in any play-making capacity so as to minimise errors and at the same time maximise his strengths by playing him in a running capacity. This strategy seemed to work pretty well the other night

I guess some people can just see things more clearly than others......
