There will be plenty of Raiders fans in your place on the ledge about mid 2014.
No mate, it is just QLD hatred and angry Parra fans who think he can't coach. Ricky will get Canberra into top shape and a defensive powerhouse with the genius of Dean Pay. All our tears will be bitter next year when the super coach has them flying in the top 4.

:lol::lol:
Im a QLDER & I don't hate him for anything (except he's overated his constant bitching & blaming everyone but himself for his failings)

I am ever so grateful for him standing down from the NSW coaching job.
It has allowed an even bigger brainless clown to step into the limelight.

Laurie"I luuuuuuv Mythchell Piss"Daley Is alright by us Qlders.

As for Stuart..
I think I will bookmark this thread for when the Raiders fans realize just what a disaster has befallen their club.

The fact that he made 3 grand finals in a row notwithstanding, he only won one of those, in his debut year. That was 2002. Ever since then, he has tread water in a pool of shit, hopping from one responsibility to the next, whether it be club or representative level, and failing at every single one. And don't bring up his stint as the Kangaroos coach, that was all the unified skill of the players.

Why is it then, that these talent bankrupt clubs (Cronulla 2007-2010, Parramatta 2013, Canberra 2014) put so much stock in those first 3 years of his career? That is ancient history by today's standards. His name always manages to find its way into the headlines, whether be over one of his signature whinges or something else, while actual amazing coaches like Hasler, Bennett and Bellamy with a proven pedigree get on with the job without making a big song and dance in the press over every little thing.

The only other challenger I could think of for the most overrated coach of the modern era would be Tim Sheens. Coaches who have had more than their fair share of chances, come up naught and continue to get them.

Regarding Ricky Stuarts coaching record at the Roosters

Try researching Ricky Stuart with John Cartwright as assistant - then Ricky Stuart after John Cartwright left (halfway through 2005) and see how Ricky's record stacks up.

For the record, in 2005 we were in the top 8 during the first half of the season. We failed to make the top 8 that year - dropping from 4th to 9th once Ricky was left to fend for himself.

We came 14th out of 15 in 2006.
