    I can't see that either. I reckon Turuva will be on the wing and possibly the centres if we have injuries. I'm starting to feel a bit more confident with our team for next year. I'm concerned we will stuff our cap though.

    Yep. That is why you might have been a bit harsh on yourself. I also just got back home from hernia surgery though and the pain killers are probably still kicking in so if my post sounded more sane than normal that is probably why. Interesting two of us going through that right now.

    Not really. His top line pace was still there and he can be quick. Here is the thing. He was targeted by the Raiders defensively as well and he was caught out multiple times. It's more his lateral speed and his reading of the defense that is an issue. I mean maybe he came back from his surgery...

    I assume Staines, Bateman and Olam come back into the starting team. I think it's interesting that Mason may find his way into the top 17 for a while since he has utility value. Staines for Faataape but maybe Laulilii. Olam for Naden and Bateman for Porter.

    I agree that he could fill that role. He has the ability or maybe better put the potential to do that. The thing is he has been extremely inconsistent throughout the season. We have a bunch of young forwards who are doing a good job including Seyfarth, Pole and to a lesser extent Sione Fainu...

    They are all overpaid. We've released Papi for next year which is good. I reckon Klemmer and Bateman are going to be millstones around our necks when it comes to the cap. Other players will want and deserve upgrades. Still it's better than Mbye and Reynolds.

    I like these kids. I just wonder if they are ready for regular NRL footy just yet. The Fainu brothers definitely look it at this point. I also wonder if Latu gets on the park if he'll start showing something special as well.

    I'm not that stressed about him. He is a battering ram and could be a great player but I don't think he is as important to us as our spine players plus he is going to get paid big bucks. Maybe losing him would be fine for our salary cap.

    He isn't going to be the best forward in the comp but we don't need him to be. We need some guys who are quality club players who don't cost us a fortune. He is perfect in that role.

    This guy is a cut price forward who can ball play and he plays on an edge and in the middle. Yes his discipline is really poor at times but it's because he tries his guts out.
