And yet even the Dolphins had to pay for additional funds for development. And still no license fee.

That doesnt mean they want to be held to ransom either. Many have denied that has anything to do with the team. Its just a thing thats completely unrelated. /s` If you think they go higher after knocking back 12m already...thats some severe optimism

Im not even pretending the Tasmanian license and a potential perth NRL one are the same. Ive said before, Tasmania are desperate for a license after 40 years of being told no and offered the world to get it. WA is not remotely close to that point and probably never will be - they have national...

A 300m stadium development is kinda paying up though. But really, WA doesnt have to do anything. The NRL either actually eants to expand the game in Australia or just the league itself. The Dolphins didnt have to pay a license fee, nor did they have to spend 12m a year on grassroots.

Its going to add just as much as any other NRL team is going to contribute - match wise. Not sure how you figure that to be the case, but ok.

No. Its quite far from a "put up or shut up" though

Im not sure the WA Gov sees it that way.

WWC. There were no planned announcements after that as far as Im aware. It doesnt get an annual upgrade. You're mixing up HBF Park and HBF Stadium (to make it even more fun, theres also a HBF Arena - all in Perth. Theyve got and use Optus Stadium for bigger events. Probably not if it was...

Didnt really do that either, but the 10m is why they have management rights. its germane to your point.

It may not be an NRL stadium or even primarily an NRL stadium, but if Its funding is conditional on an NRL team, and if its a condition of the NRL license being granted? How else would you put it.

Im not suprised you skipped over it

Id doubt the NRL will get management of the stadium. All WA Gov venues are run through Venues West. Might also upset the Glory and Force.

Stadium was a primary Commonwealth Games venue and hosts one or two BBL matches a year, as well as the odd Concert event. The AFL contributed $10 million towards it. Techically the AFL is the ground manager, but the Suns run it on their behalf.

All of these major stadiums are multipurpose, while the primary tenant may be one sport or another, they are all -particularly in Optus Stadiums case, designed with other sports and events in mind. [See also Adelaide Oval, Allianz Stadium, proposed Maquarie Point Stadium] No Government is...

That might depend on the deal they get from the WA Government if it includes favourable rental terms ie corporate box revenues etc. as is done for West Coast and Fremantle at Optus Stadium If stadium redevelopment and construction is a condition of the Lincense deal, then it kinda is for rugby...

Its a three year deal - 2m per year including a game in Bunbury outside of Perth as the WA Gov tries to promote tourism out in the region.

The NRL isn't exactly poor either.
