    2019 Crowd Watch

Wollongong isn’t in Sydney firstly. Secondly, it’s the scheduling that is the problem, not Sydney. Last year tigers v souths at anz on a Saturday got over 25k, this year it got 9k on a Thursday. Scheduling and origin stuffing up scheduling while taking hype away from the comp are the problem.

    Kiwis v Tonga

To give rugby league players in Tonga a reason to play and a goal for the future. If the aim isn’t to grow rugby league in the actual country of Tonga then what is the point? They still haven’t produced a local rugby league player to the nrl, we need more kids and locals playing in the islands.

    PNG KUMULS Squad

They also beat a Fiji side last year that had previously beaten NZ in the World Cup so they aren’t THAT bad. They will be competitive against Samoa.

    PNG KUMULS Squad

They need to get under 18’s and 20’s into the qld systems. They also need to scrap their ban on English lower grade players, some of those guys are quality!

No team should (or will) be culled, but manly are one of the smaller, localised Sydney teams.
