    The argument is pretty simple .. the upgrade will improve a Govt owned asset and several codes will benefit in addition to the NRL club … It’s not $300m being spent on the new NRL club … Im not underselling it …it will be great for the Bears … but it’s an investment in a govt owned asset to...

    So the NRL should insist on the stadium design that best suits them ..and if the Glory dont like it then they can be told “No NRL club no upgrade “…. It’s your argument that this money is being spent on behalf of the NRL club right, so they need to be kept happy,,,

    This argument is just plain dumb …you are comparing two different things … The WA Govt also is paying the NRL $5m for Origin games ... including one in 2025 …also I assume they pay for the NRL games that take place in Perth every year ..

    it makes no sense .. You would try to get the Stadium upgraded and the COE built ASAP…. Maybe even by the time they enter the comp… So the money can’t be allocated elsewhere up to 12 years later if it’s already been spent …

    Well owning the club and paying $12m a year in funding are seperate things right ? I just find it really odd that you negotiate with Cook for six months at least ..he gIves you a lot already and then you drop this on him out of nowhere as well? Makes zero sense to me … Bears guy is saying...
