News Paul Kent incidents - domestic abuse charges dismissed, street fight

A couple of years ago on Triple M, Kent and Hooper made fun of Anthony Maroon with jokes around the ATO. It lead to Maroon walking out. And i think the pair of them were still making jokes, even after Maroon had walked out. It lead to Kent leaving Triple M because he didn't want to apologise...

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

The thing is, how are the Tigers going to compete against teams who play out of stadiums like Commbank, SFS 2.0, Suncorp, AAMI, etc. Tigers should use Campbelltown to grow the club, and then pick one of Parra, Homebush or SFS 2.0 for monetary purposes. If no money is spent at Leichhardt...

Rugby Australia to target top NRL talent

If it wasn't Terry Hill, someone else might've challenged it. I do think every time there was a salary cap scandal, there could've been an opportunity to review or reform the system. Example, if the NRL reformed the salary cap after the Canterbury debacle, then the Melbourne Storm fiasco may...

No team has ever won the premiership after conceding 50pts in a regular season match

Disappointed with yesterdays result. Actually dejected, but anyway...☹. Previous to yesterday, Dragons won four from seven. But this year whenever the Dragons lose, it is a hiding. * 20 point loss against Knights *38 point loss against Dolphins * 22 point loss against Cowboys * 42 point loss...

    Vale Terry Hill

Shocked to hear about this. Terry Hill was a tough and skillful centre. Formed a great centre pairing with Craig Innes at Manly. He was a character on the Footy Show, especially where he situated at the Dapto Dogs. Gone far too early at age 52. My condolences to his family and friends. RIP Tezza.

With the Warriors having a home Anzac game, which team should be playing against the Storm? Should it be Souths? Maybe Manly? Or who else?

Rugby Australia to target top NRL talent

Problem with the salary cap is there is no draft attached to it. In the current system, you are not going to get a spread of good talent among the 17 clubs. Clubs near the bottom so often have to pay overs for players and therefore it results in a lack of depth in the cap. And I don't think...

Braydon Trindall fails roadside alcohol and drug testing

Dear oh dear, it is hard to comprehend someone who goes behind the wheel, heavy under the influence of alcohol and drugs (b sample pending), while on a suspended license. A triple whammy of stupidity. He needs to get time out of the game and sort himself out.

Old Wembley stadium had the twin towers. It also had great moments like England winning in '66 (not a great moment for the rest of the world lol), and legendary concerts, such as Live Aid and Queen. The newer version of Wembley has the arch. It is less than 20 years old, but in time, there will...

New Zealand 2 will deal a massive blow to NZ rugby

The problem for Rugby in NZ is the lack of competition from Australian sides, either at SR or international level. The All Blacks have beat up the Wannabes in the last 20 years, while in SR, Kiwi teams do as they please against the Australian sides. Sure there may be an odd upset or two, but...

    2024 Crowd Watch

In the old days, each team played 22 games, eleven at home, eleven away. Early in the NRL era, when Souths were omitted, there were 14 teams, with 26 rounds. Since Souths have returned, each team now plays 24 games, with 12 of them at home. So if Penrith and Parra continue to sell one match...

    2024 Crowd Watch

Parra have a 5 year old stadium, and yet they still take a home game to Darwin each year. So Penrith will still have a similar arrangement of 11 games at a new redeveloped stadium, and one match at Bathurst.
