    18th club, whose next?

We aren’t talking about the Dolphins, we are talking about the Rams, the Chargers, the Crushers, the Mariners and the Reds. The Chargers were a basket case like their previous incarnations on the Gold Coast, even the Titans were horrible before the new owners came in. The Chargers made the...

    18th club, whose next?

The only club worth a shot there was the Reds, the others were complete failures in their two or three years in the competition. Most of them were only added due to their competitions lack of a team in that area. Chargers, Rams, Crushers, Mariners couldn’t even keep their heads above water for a...

    18th club, whose next?

Foundation clubs that have been around since 1908 against clubs who couldn’t survive their two to three years in the competition. I can see why WB wouldn’t care for them.

    18th club, whose next?

The Bears had a great team on paper, dare I say it probably our best of 2024, with four Melbourne Storm contracted players Sualauvi Faalogo (fullback), Reimis Smith (centre), Dean Ieremia (centre) and Tepai Moeroa (prop) playing.

    18th club, whose next?

The NSW Cup Bears suffer their first loss in 10 weeks to the Bulldogs, the Doggies just to enthusiastic today. I believe it is always good to have a loss just before the Finals, there are five competition games remaining and four of those are at NSO.

He will be in there but he will be the first player sacked when he gets caught sneaking his friends into the compound.

Yes the article I posted about the Dolphins boss being in full support of Perth being the 18th team.

Perths turn in the headlines this coming week, it’s starting early.

    18th club, whose next?

I see the NRLW crowds haven’t improved on last season 3,921. Two time Premiers the Knights v the competition favourites (on paper) the Roosters. It’s not about crowds, it is about tv revenue.

    18th club, whose next?

T They were, I watched all of the games, look back earlier on this thread, I even commented on here at the time, the two games were Fiji v Cook Islands and PNG v Cook Islands. Certainly not sold out, no where near it, the Final had a decent crowd though.

    18th club, whose next?

Have you seen the Hunters’ crowds though ?. It would be pretty cruel for PNG to have a NRL team and the majority of their fans can’t afford to watch them play.

    18th club, whose next?

Yes but don’t forget two of those games the ground was virtually empty. The only games that were full were both PNG v Fiji games.

    18th club, whose next?

The last week has been all about PNG, next week will almost certainly be all about Perth with the Roosters v Dolphins game at HBF Park coming up next Friday night.

    18th club, whose next?

Do you think they will have gate takings in PNG ? (honest question, not taking the piss) really curious on what the ground entry cost will be. Surely it will not be the same as at Australian grounds because if it was unfortunately the majority of PNG locals would not be able to afford to watch...

You do realise that rugby union is like a religion in NZ and babies are given a All Black ball straight out of the womb.

    18th club, whose next?

There are going to be a lot of wealthy PNG politicians from this deal.

    18th club, whose next?

Now you want three NZ teams lol, do you remember how long it took the Warriors to get their head above water, yes the Warriors are selling out over in NZ atm but will a 2nd side ?.

    18th club, whose next?

Personally I would rather see Aussie dollars stay in Aust than go overseas, PNG wouldn’t even be looked at without Govt support $$$, I am at a loss how locals will afford to attend NRL games, surely they will not be the same entry cost as in Aust. I am also against this uneven playing field that...
