    Unfortunately this is how successful clubs work. The players they get rid of are usually the ones they are done with and feel they can replace so they won't match contracts offered elsewhere.     This Koroisau signing definitely helps push us back into top 8 contention in 2020. We are still a superstar or 2 away from a premiership though.

    Kenny was never going to be long term option. He is an average NRL player. Kenny would be good to have around the club though. Perhaps as ISP captain.

    Looks like we will get Koroisau now according to Brent Read. We have no doubt offered him big dollars to get him away from the Dogs. I had a feeling the Board wanted to get a couple of signings in the door ASAP.

    JWH is a good player no doubt about it. I am just hesitant to give a player their final pay day after they have already won a premiership. Taukeiaho is the one I would target. 3 years younger and a better player IMO. It wouldn't be his last contract if he came to us for 2 or 3 years.

    Not a massive expert when it comes to the English Super League however Daryl Clark has recently re-signed with the Wolves. Roby is too old now. I maintain the best long term option at 9 is Cleary.

    Just a gentle reminder that Cleary had a war chest at the Tigers too. He went on to pay big dollars for Josh Reynolds, Moses Mbye, Ben Matulino and Russel Packer.

    I didn't want to do Europe in their winter so the Panthers had to take a back seat this year. I too have Western Stand season tickets and haven't been to a home game since late May when we defeated Manly.

    You can't win a comp with a young team let alone a young spine. 2015 - Coote, Morgan, Thurston, Granville 2016 - Barba, Maloney, Townsend, Ennis 2017 - Slater, Munster, Cronk, Smith 2018 - Tedesco, Keary, Cronk, Friend I am sorry but Edwards, Luai, Cleary, Kenny doesn't stack up.

    I took one this year. I agree though, any premiership window that was open has now been slammed shut for at least a couple of years.
