Thrashings don’t affect me as much as losing matches on the bell. Especially matches you do not deserve to lose or lose because of brain farts.

That & the 1984 major semi against Parra are the two greatest disappointments I've ever had in league. That '84 loss still burns deeply. F**cking Sgt Bilko Roberts.

999 times out of 1000 Mundine scores that try so to say he should of passed it is a bit of a stretch. Mundine wasn't a hog so I'd back his judgement that he believed he would score. Furthermore even after that event I still thought we were going to win. And it's hard to be critical of him given...

Terrible news. The ABC radio & TV had an awesome lineup of commentators and co-commentators through the 80's and 90's and Morrow was at the pointy end of the list of all-time greats. Maxwell, Gasnier, Morrow, Wilkins, Ryan & Boland were all wonderful and it's so sad that a second one of them...

    Commentators

We had a good run with dragons fans as commentators prior to this era. Jim Maxwell, Morrow & Peter Wilkins were all saints fans.

My favourite commentator alongside Jim Maxwell & Peter Wilkins. I remember his first call as a full-time commentator in 1985 against Canterbury at Belmore when it was absolutely p*ssing down. (ended in a draw - we were robbed of a win - as per usual) A really sad passing. You read this &...

Greatest disappointment: Losing biro licence at age 16. Employment: Works...

What a bunch of skirts! I am the fo-sho, fo-shizzle, word-up gangsta of LU. Last February I kicked a 70 year old Karen in the spadge when her husband let their shopping trolley hit the door of my 1982 Ford Meteor. She tried hiding behind her walking frame but I had the strength to rip it away...

We should have won that game by at least 6-8 points. Pretty disappointing coaching effort.

I spoke to Flanno. He said he's keen to win this.

Graeme O'Grady. Up there amongst my favourite players. Was a massive loss to Saints when he retired. As Masters admitted, the club didn't replace him & we suffered accordingly.

I think it's pretty obvious now. The board is meeting this evening.

Flannelette is a genius. We thrashed the team coming second last, crucially scoring a couple of tries when they were down to 12 men. I think it's pretty safe to say I was wrong about him. Surely the board could see their way clear to offering him a decade-long contract on his terms & asking...

I would have thought the answer was pretty obvious. The board needs to approach Jowls McGregor and offer him his job back. We should all admit our mistake & welcome him back with open arms. He told me that he learnt a lot in those formative, fleeting 7-odd years of coaching. He asserted that...
