    2024 Crowd Watch

Looks in same ballpark as King’s Birthday (45,496). Great crowd, great atmosphere, great for the game. Take notes Cronulla.

    2024 Crowd Watch

Anyway, let’s focus on the good news story today - up to 50,000 in the house at Accor Stadium for the Dogs and Manly. What’s the record for an elimination final crowd in Sydney? The weather is horribly windy in Sydney but thankfully it isn’t raining.

    2024 Crowd Watch

Cronulla refuses to build a culture around game day attendance. They’ve had multiple opportunities to take big Sydney derbies to Allianz Stadium to grow attendance and revenue but have refused to do it. The NRL should force them to do start doing it by making them play at Allianz Stadium...

Excellent crowd in Melbourne, especially on a cold day. Well done.

Nice! I reckon we'll land in the 45-50k range tomorrow. Great outcome.

    2024 Crowd Watch

Sales starting to get a move on again with the allocation in Bay 402 exhausted, and some movement in Bay 412. I reckon it'd be smart to open up Level 6 East (would they be classified as Cat 1 and 2 seating?) this evening before the Panthers vs Roosters, because there could be a nice bump as...

    2024 Crowd Watch

Bit surprised Penrith hasn't sold out for tonight, even if it's only a handful of standing + accessible tickets remaining. It's a beaut, crisp day in Sydney, they're playing against another Sydney team and it's likely the last game at Bluebet before it closes for the rebuild.

    2024 Crowd Watch

On level 4, Bays 404-410 are down to single seats only, and Bays 403 and 411 are down to limited seats (<5). Unclear if all seats in Bays 403-411 have been released, but whatever stock is being released is selling very quickly. I suspect the rest of Level 4 East will be on sale tomorrow, and...

    2024 Crowd Watch

^^ I just saw that too. Bit surprised that people in The Kennel forum are disappointed the pax is "so low." I wonder if it's because the regular season pax for the Dogs usually includes members (not to mention weeks of sales, not two days) and that has distorted people's perceptions? In any...

    2024 Crowd Watch

General public ticket sales started at 10:00am for Canterbury vs Manly and the Ticketek website has crashed - a sign of high demand?

    2024 Crowd Watch

5 bays in level 4 east already on sale for the Canterbury vs Manly Elimination Final at Accor. Ticket sales to the general public open tomorrow morning at 10am. The ABC and the SMH are both reporting a crowd of 50,000 is expected for this game...

NRL FINALS - WEEK 1 CROWD GUESSTIMATES 21,500 at Bluebet Stadium for Penrith Panthers vs Sydney Roosters 23,000 at AAMI Park for Melbourne Storm vs Cronulla Sharks 25,000 at Queensland Country Bank Stadium for North Queensland Cowboys vs Newcastle Knights 40,000 at Accor Stadium for Canterbury...

    2024 NRL finals matchups/schedule/locations

I think Penrith would be fine playing anyone at Accor in any week beyond Wk1. Penrith would value getting a run at Accor prior to the Grand Final, especially if it's against the Storm.

    2024 Crowd Watch

According to The Kennel, pax for Bulldogs vs Cowboys at Accor today is now over 42,000. Anticipate the crowd will be a similar size to the 35k last week vs Manly. A Bulldogs win to guarantee a home elimination final will do wonders for the health of the R1 finals crowds.

    2024 Crowd Watch

Contrary to (anticipated) popular opinion, I think this crowd (~20k) has landed in the "passable" range for the following reasons: 1. This game is being held at Accor Stadium and not Allianz Stadium 2. The South Sydney faithful (inc me) have clocked out of Accor Stadium 3. South Sydney was third...

17,311 in Campbelltown for the Spoon Bowl. For their efforts, they get to see their team get the wooden spoon for a third year in a row.

^^ Great news. Seems a lock for another 30k crowd which is a fantastic result.

I agree. According to Rugby League Tables, in 2018 the Roosters averaged 13,274 when their primary home was Allianz 1.0 (away team for ANZAC Day and excluding double headers and/or Magic Round for consistency). https://afltables.com/rl/seas/2018.html#1 In 2024, the Roosters have averaged...
