    If Tamale has a breakout year and Sloan reaches NRL level as a fullback, Lomax to 5/8 would be a good move. Very solid defender, good passer of the ball. I suspect given the fact that he takes the goal kicks that he would have a decent kicking game. Greater involvement with ball constantly in hand.

    I believe he is worth a punt under a coach like Flanno. We have massive cap space, we should front load an extension. Ben Rumble will develop quickly. If Sloan doesn’t work out, Rumble will be given a chance or we will sign a major name.

    Very good post BDS ! I can see Jack playing from the bench in a rotation where Liddle is given a rest, young Flanno goes to 9 and Bird comes on as 6 Bird will only play Centre if injury strikes one of the centres or Sloan lays an egg, forcing Lomax to go to 1
