    Should be used for points scoring decisions only such as check grounding, or if the ball just got over the cross bar for a field goal etc.

    Limiting men in the tackle is always going to be difficult. I would go back to 5 metres, no interchange - only replacements and get the refs to penalise any slowing of the play-the-ball harshly. Having the defence only going back 5 metres reduces the need for them to slow the play-the-ball...

    Raking at the ball from marker did little to slow the play the ball and happened rarely in a game. The game is poorer without it.

    Hopefully yes. Will be very interesting to see the comparison between the two competitions with regards to how the broadcasters treat them.

    Yes. It’s criminal that they have nothing put aside for a rainy day.

    Disgraceful management of funds could be applied to the clubs as well. The NRL has chipped in money to prop up clubs in the past.

    I was thinking about this recently. Do you think fans would walk away as easily knowing that this was such a unique event, and out of their control? I don't think you would lose as many fans compared to the NRL making the call on whether a club continues or not.

    From a glass half full perspective, both challenges last night show the refs had made the correct decision. Some teams are going to be a little bit "Shane Watson" with their use of the review.

    I would like it better if that was the only time the video ref was used. Give each team two challenges per game. Would need to re-introduce in goal judges to assist the referees.
