    2021 SF 2 Sat - Penrith 8-6 Parramatta @ BB Print

I’ve never noticed how much salt there is towards the Panthers… why? Cos after 20 years of being cannon fodder we built a good side? Strange.

    2021 SF 2 Sat - Penrith 8-6 Parramatta @ BB Print

It was def a penalty. You could probably pick out 10 penalties/ref errors for each team that don’t get called every game. Nikores high shots been a binning all season too… see it’s easy to do.

    2021 Preliminary Semifinal V Storm

Momo ain’t going anywhere lads. I doubt anyone is unless injured or returning from injury. Defensively we’re rock solid at the moment. Critta still needs to look for the ball. Or Cleary needs to get him involved in some plays. Would love to see Momo and Critta swap roles during the game but it...

    Panthers v Parra

Edwards was everywhere last night. Give the man some kudos.

    Panthers v Parra

Thats how he rolls. Same with Fifita and co. It’s the risk you take having a dynamic back rower. If he took the right option every play he’d be worth $1.2m+. His defence is being slept on this year as well. Has improved out of sight.

Was good to see signs of life from Capewell again. First sighting since Origin.

I agree, that’s not my argument, but He trampled Hughes when he held the ball in the GF. He’ll do so again if he plays like he did the month previous to last night.

    Panthers v Parra

As much as I want to see Critta get more ball, Momo retains his spot. Poor game with ball last night but that right edge is all about locking up Olam and JAC and both finals they’ve been superb defensively. Last night showed what as asset Edwards is to us. Gets our sets off to such a solid...

    Panthers v Parra

He was our best player last week And the month prior to that. You must be going bag halvies with Matty M to not want him out of the side. We don’t win without him. In the GF last year as poor as his end decisions were, he ran all over Hughes for 80 mins.

    Panthers v Parra

That’s kind of the point though. South’s only winning by 6 when they played really well and we were nowhere our best is proof enough that we’re clearly a superior side. If we’d played at 75% of what we’re capable of, we win that game comfortably. To play at the level we did in our most important...

    Panthers v Parra

South’s are a good team but they are a team who (IMO) are a rung or two below us. While it’s not a disgrace to lose to them given how they played, I think there is a bit of choke in there from us. We lose tonight and that’s full choke mode activated. Not so much because Parra are a bad side...

What's it paying for Blake to score the winning try?

    2021 QF 2 Sat - Penrith 10-16 South Sydney @ QCBS

To'o should've just stayed down or clutched his neck and screamed at the ref. Like Arrow did. And Graham. And Gagai. Instead he's an upstanding citizen with impeccable morals.

Is Rob Jennings injured or just out of favour? I know he had a barry crocker last game but previous to that he was playing well. Seems strange you'd banish him to the depths based on one poor game.

Great post @snickers007, I think you're bang on.

    2021 SF 2 Sat - Penrith 8-6 Parramatta @ BB Print

Think it'll be a tough tight game, flip of the coin job. Cant see either team running away with it. Surely Parra just try and bash us into submission like Souths did.

    Panthers v Parra

True. I know others disagree but I'd probably just try and get 80 out of him.

    Panthers v Parra

Hes played 60+ the last few weeks and easily been our best over that period IMO. Giving him another 10 isn’t going to break him, his confidence looks pretty high at the moment. If you take him off after 30 - 35 and bring him back straight after half time that’s a 15 - 20 min break. Easily...

    Panthers v Parra

Think I’d start Kiks and try and get 70 - 80 out of him. Capewell back to the bench and potentially play him through the middle for a short period if Yeo needs a breather.
