    I’ve heard Friday but my last big scoop was the season was being suspended rather than played behind closed doors (& it genuinely came from someone who would know), so I didn’t want to risk going 0/2 this early in the season!

    I know it’s been said a few times already but the timing of the pass from Cleary to create the overlap was top notch. Holding it back that fraction of a second when he was already in the process of passing made all the difference.

    & Crichton made 2 errors in 15 mins which is terrible as well. Easy to pull out a stat in isolation & base a whole argument on it.

    So you can guarantee the guy who didn’t drop a high ball all game or make an error all game would of made an error when the guy who made 2 errors (in 15 minutes) didn’t? .... What? Both did well. The job Aitken did is being very much under appreciated imo.

    He completely shut down one of the more offensively dangerous centres in the game who got a tonne of ball all game. Might not have had a great impact with the ball but it's rnd 1, early days. Agree to disagree.

    Crichton looked sharp but the blokes getting 7 & 8’s + for putting the ball down & looking decent for 10 mins against a tiring defence we were on top of, while also making an error that turned over possession early in the count when we were setting up for a field goal. That’s my only criticism...

    I still think you start our backrow with Kik & Yeo on the edges, & JFH at lock. I thought Yeo looked decent on the edge early. Bring Martin on mid/end first half. I know a lot of people rate him, I do too to a point, but he’s still very raw & makes basic errors. Maybe a tad overrated at the...

    Wet & swirling wind. Defused numerous bombs without an error. I’d say terrific given he’s a rookie. Was a bit easier for Crichton coming on when we had all the momentum & a tiring defence, albeit he looks a serious player. Give him time though.

    I think Cartwright is a 13 but the days of a ball playing lock seem to be gone. He gets isolated Way too much on an edge.

    I’d be keeping Tamou on the assumption he has a similar year then the last 2. You’d assume he wouldn’t be expecting the same money given his age etc, & he’s been more than solid for us imo.

    That was the initial plan but from what I was told (from a very reliable source) they'll likely now just suspend the season for a month or so. They're expecting it to happen by Rnd 2 or 3. Nothing like a bit of hysteria.
