Match Discussion: Round 17 vs Parramatta @ Leichhardt Oval, Lilyfield

That Tiger looks like it’s about to roll over.

    If not Madge, then who?

What a kind offer from Sheens! I bet the thought never crossed his mind till just now. Give it a few weeks and it’ll be Sheens, Robbie and Benji running the show, just like old times.

    If not Madge, then who?

I was playing along and adding to your sarcasm. Well, the big cap money dead wood and the players not of his choosing at least. I didn’t mean in an absolute sense because I think there’s obviously still some ordinary performances out there. I mean more that he got the team of his choosing and...

    If not Madge, then who?

I’m afraid you may be too optimistic. I agree, they should have given Madge 6 months with his chosen roster next year because it took that long to clear out the dead wood. Sheens jumped in and hit reset prematurely imo. He put the cherry on top of this clusterf@!k sh$tcake that is the WT. I’ll...

Match Discussion: Round 16 vs Warriors @ Mt Smart Stadium, Penrose

Maumalo, Nofo and Offa seem to be the consistent and keen ball runners every week, there needs to be a few more forwards on that list as an absolute minimum if they want to be competitive. Speaking of not wanting to be competitive, what the F is Kelma still doing out there?

    Luke Brooks

You can see moves are already being made to let this ebenchuate. I think him stumbling into hooker is his last shred of hope but I don’t think that role suits him. I still think it’s the forwards going backwards lately that really haven’t let him play freely at 5/8 but there are others knocking...

    If not Madge, then who?

All this new coach drama is making me think the Tigers should try and re-sign Madge.

Match Discussion: Round 16 vs Warriors @ Mt Smart Stadium, Penrose

You’re right, it was against the dogs the first time. I checked back because I couldn’t remember seeing him play. Stats show he got a couple of quick ones in the second half, shame he was pulled so quickly next run. I can’t understand some of these roster decisions, looks like there’s another...

I did miss that one, they lose every time I watch.

    Rumoured Signings

…as big as the one that other rooster, Miles, backed out on the corridor carpet?

T They may get a higher work rate out of the 9 by sharing the load this way as well.

Brown as hooker is the surprise. Probably some kind of way to maneuver AD into the halves.

    Amateur hour again at WT.

    Luke Brooks

I think the halves have had a really tough time while most of the attacking forwards have either been out through injury or, even worse, they haven’t put in. There are some in the pack that give their all every week and while they are great in defense they aren’t there for spearing their way up...

Match Discussion: Round 15 vs Canterbury @ CommBank Stadium, Parramatta

I think the tigers had depth but not 9 players deep.

Match Discussion: Round 15 vs Canterbury @ CommBank Stadium, Parramatta

I think you’re right in that to develop local talent will take 3-5 years to start bearing fruit. I think if injuries hadn’t taken out most of the team things would have been different, we would be looking hard at the 8 and we would be going into this week against the warriors, at their home for...

Match Discussion: Round 15 vs Canterbury @ CommBank Stadium, Parramatta

Even with the injury toll and despite the losses things seemed to be starting to turn around. Not any more, that’s clear. I see Sheens as setting the club back 5 years rather than starting a 5 year plan. The spoon is a lock.

Match Discussion: Round 15 vs Canterbury @ CommBank Stadium, Parramatta

He does, it’s pretty tough going on the halves when the forwards aren’t rolling forward. The Tigers pack would have to be the smallest in the comp now and despite some quality being in there the bench doesn’t give support in the size department. There seems to be a hodgepodge of halves and...

Match Discussion: Round 15 vs Canterbury @ CommBank Stadium, Parramatta

Why play so flat all of a sudden? One of the only things they have consistently done well this year is move the ball out to the edges with deep, phased runners, they should have done more of it. Now they’re playing flat all of a sudden and they have nothing. Is this BK’s influence?
