Maybe if you outsourced your electrical work to the Phillipines you could make 5 or 6 times the money?

Technically, I don't think an offer without acceptance can form the basis of a contract - sure we have included clauses that make an offer beyond what was originally accepted (2025), but unless they are accepted before they expire, they are not contractual. Happy to be proven wrong by any legal...

There are of course the option clauses but the contract itself was only ever until end of 2025 as it says in the release.

Media reporting is so disingeneous. They aren't escape clauses. He signed a 3 year contract and is on the market like anyone else whose contract has expired. If he doesn't accept a new contract from us, or take anyone else's offer then he is free to stay here at a previously agreed amount. He...

I think he signed his current contract in early 2023, before the handsy issue. Edit: signed in December 2022 https://www.espn.com.au/nrl/story/_/id/35281286/nrl-parramatta-eels-lock-dylan-brown-massive-deal

Maybe it starts with J ends with H. Personal ownership and/or simple skill limitations given he was tried at 3 NRL Clubs in some capacity. Or if you were referring to Murchie it starts with J ends with K for the same reason.

I think that's probably where my view is coming from too. Over the years we have seen it in Lane, Stone, Terepo, Doorey and Moretti and it is f**ken frustrating to watch the hard work done and then the chance ruined by an unforced dropped ball.

Let's hope he can develop into that then.

Not sure I ever gave an opinion on Moimoisea, but whatever.

Good call and like I said, I do like him and hope he succeeds.

I like Moretti and hope he ends up a 100 game player, but realistically, is he any better than say Ray Stone? IMO, there is probably a little bit of over enthusiasm on this site of late, in regards to him.

    5. He takes up the option because other clubs show an interest but not at any higher price than what we have offered in our option.

Has Drown ever not been loyal? I can't recall his contract extensions ever being dragged out and through the media before (at least not to the Gutherson and Moses levels).

    Squad succession

I like the idea of Williams on one edge, Kelma on the other. Lane and Matto on the bench can then cover middle or edge.

I have no definitive reason behind my logic, (hence my use of the word 'maybe') so I cant comment on whether we need them or not, but what I do know is that the PLC Board was definitely interested in improving their understanding of how TPA's work in the latter half of 2024.

Gun shy at having TPA's until the dust settled from the breaches so maybe PO's were used as the replacement option for certain players when needed. Not as gun shy anymore so maybe why PO's are no longer a focus.
