    Optus snatches English Premier League rights from Fox Sports in Australia

    Definitely happy Optus is hanging on to Premier League. I have the Foxtel Now box to watch NRL... quality is often choppy and stutters occasionally. Very annoying (anyone else have this isssue?) I have NBN. The Optus fetch box works perfectly. Can't even tell it's streaming. Great product

    Tigers vs Cowboys will be a mess. Can't see it happening. Okay, some of these designs are average - BUT at least it seems to be a league wide round. I am okay with this - it's just stupid when you have one team in some strange kit then the other in their standard jerseys.

    Draft wouldn't work in league. Obviously it doesn't always happen like this but Broncos fans want to see Bris juniors play for them. Knights want to see local juniors play for them. And so on and so on. It could be a roll on effect from Origin, not sure, but league supporters seem much more...

    Several times last night in tight situations it was difficult to tell the teams apart. Souths also passed the ball to the broncos on at least two occasions. It wasn't the worst I've seen but it was difficult. If one team had white pants (as AFL do) it would have been fine but it was all similar.
