    f**k. You actually get what I’m saying. Why are we disagreeing? Phil would have to approve every contract and payment above a certain amount. First grade player contracts absolutely fall in that category. If he approves something that proves to be a failure, it’s on him. Just like any other CEO.

    Gardner moving on and the club employing a CEO who knows how football clubs run, creates stability and stops the churn of staff would be a great start. But sure, a new coach with the same uninspiring players should fix it.
