    Probably true, but there are also games where there are no long range tries and the most important thing is muscling up and making some metres with really tough carries. Those games are more common than the 4 tries in a half games.

    With the Lodge situation, it may have been less about money and more about attitude. I reckon SF wanted someone who was grateful and desperate to prove their worth but he didn't see that in Lodge.
