    Question on Peter V'landys

Exactly if you trace it back to pre covid, remember V'landys and Abdo going to New York to see Lachlan Murdoch without Greenberg. Within a few weeks Greenberg was gone and he was hailed as the saviour of our game by EVERY news ltd mouthpiece. The game now is back in the hands of Murdoch he has...

    Question on Peter V'landys

V'landys is just a mouth piece. I think he is advised what we the punters want. We constantly complained about how our leaders weren't aggressive enough against AFL so he became aggressive against that and we all cheered.

    Question on Peter V'landys

If you look at how Lachlan Murdoch is steering News Corp it is into Sports betting, he already has trademarked Foxbet. I think this is where we are headed, thus the secrecy with V'landys. Also why the NRL did a seven year deal. Gives them plenty of time to get it set up. The thing is this was...

"It’s very realistic to say that we’ll have a second team in Brisbane in 2023": V'landys

They have an 10 team local rules comp also which has a rich history. The pre covid GF drew 40,000. Adelaide is just as obsessed with Aussie Rules as Melbourne, possibly even more so.

"It’s very realistic to say that we’ll have a second team in Brisbane in 2023": V'landys

Wests Tigers should kick Balmain to link with Brisbane Easts and become Wests Magpies again. Can have 3 clubs in Brisbane. Won't happen because Tigers is a valuable logo and sells lots of merchandise....so rugby league.

Where's Andrew Abdo - the Invisible Man

Imagine how much the media would bash Grant Greenberg or Smith if they had an arrangement like St Pete and Abdo. Pathetic.

How many have an open age team? Likewise how many AFL teams were there in 2000 compared to today?

    Central Coast Bears NRL Bid.

No....change topic. Did Bulldogs fans get behind Sydney Bulldogs. Why don't Arsenal or Tottenham call themselves London rather then after small suburbs?

    Central Coast Bears NRL Bid.

The ABC game would have been live. Brisbane league crowd wise was poor probably the reason they never announced regular crowds at local grounds. Even without poker machine revenue Sydney clubs would have been richer. It's the nature of all sport no matter what the good players go where the...

    Central Coast Bears NRL Bid.

Maybe on paper or in your mind but in reality no chance.

    Central Coast Bears NRL Bid.

Brisbane got stronger because it joined the Sydney comp, most people outside Sydney would have had a team in Sydney that they had an interest in. Most Brisbane games not at Lang Park would struggle to pull 5,000. Clubs like Souths, Valleys and Brothers were struggling financially. Forming the...
