It might be a season to remember. More than a few errors in your game though, Beave.

10 pm Monday is a late start for one of NZ's most committed Manly fans! Bugger, my Raiders might not be back after all, the Knights are rolling them. Edit: is that going to be it? We went through all this, for that? Melbourne slowly do Penrith, 37-10. That's likely the GF too. They are that good.

So disappointing not to have a Storm v Panthers clash on a Saturday night. Oh well at least the Olympics is on. I loved watching NZ win the rowing eights gold. The first time we won that since Munich in '72.

What Was It Like In NZ In 2008 ?

I've never seen the RWC final, so let me re-live those last twenty minutes some time this weekend...and sure in the fact we ended that 24-year drought. I watched the 2015 final, which seemed like a sweet celebration! It was.

I always thought the 2011 RWC final win was more a sense of collective (and palpable) relief! Twenty four years, and a game the French could've easily won at the death.

A typically thrilling finish between Brisbane and NQ...hold on, the Bunker got involved. No try to Feldt.

Aidan Kirk, you couldn't find a more unfancied player to provide the thrilling climax to a memorable season. Up 24-13, with plenty of time, and the Roosters looking to go back-to-back with two, late converted tries, stunning that great home-crowd. Then, whoosh...!

The line-speed of these two teams just blows me away! No wonder they're top-four (or thereabouts).

True about SJ, I'd forgot with all the excitement of him going up against Manly. He missed last year's finals through injury and '4-8 weeks' out could mean he misses this year's as well. He'd then head home a much better all-round player but with only the four finals he played with us for that...

Round TWENTY! The season's marched on, bang, bang, bang and it'll be finals time. You watch. Speaking of finals, tonight's sides are guaranteed, the Roosters and Eels. One is just plain proud of their team for overcoming all those injuries and the other is starting to bottle out with the...

    Team vs Tigers

Another wasted opportunity. I thought he was gone for the season? If we'd stayed in touch with the eight we'd have our ace attacking centre back for the run home.

I missed my wintry trip to Christchurch this year, just like last. I love it at that time, not many people around the suburban streets, long walks down to the windswept New Brighton Pier, a wild ocean, with Chile just over the horizon. Friday night and it gets dark early, so I'll stop by the...

Rd 19 Ladder: The race for seven and eight looks great, I think the Dogs have got the spoon.

Johnson's off with a hamstring strain, looks like a few weeks, unfortunately. The Sharks need him for that top-eight battle and, today, it was a great opportunity to let rip versus the dazzled Dogs.

The Panthers are doing the Dogs and Warriors a favour re the spoon. A Broncos win here would've been huge in that context!
