    We should have been up by a try or two at half time, the two positives are that we didn't give up in the 2nd half and the for and against only took a hit by -4. We go again next week.

    I think we're looking a lot better on attack, while the Broncos seem a bit clunky. Patience, and the tries will come. Oh and how damn good is that crowd? They're out in full vocal force in the Bay, bless 'em!

    Good question - and I'd add the question "Would a successful Brisbane Easts bid encourage more Qld Cup Brisbane clubs to lobby the NRL to add THEM?" If a Easts-owned team can appeal to a wide market - especially all points south of the river - then there should be no need to add further teams...

    Further to my post above... "But what of the islands?" you may say - well, set up a pathway & funding for Fiji's Silvertails to move from Ron Massey Cup to NSW Cup, and use similar pathways for club teams from Tonga & Samoa (either in NSW or Qld system) using some of that additional TV cash...

Then NZ 2 (where-ever that lands) and this 'Brisbane Tigers'-backed bid - encompassing Logan & Ipswich as you say - as teams 19 and 20, hopefully added at the same time to avoid an uneven sized competition. Add to that, regular games (at least 2 per year) in Adelaide.. build...

    20th - Christchurch I admire your desire to do Perth & Adelaide next (nevermind Brisbane, the current Qld clubs need some time first), but NZ 2 is ready & worthwhile before PNG Darwin or Hobart.
