    I’ll believe it once it’s official but having said that if true I’m happy with Ryles being handed the keys. He may be an old boy but he’s been out for 15 years so I don’t see this as a typical ‘job for the boys’ I think he’s been appointed on his own merit.

    We have a long turn around before playing Penrith Sunday night so Carr will finally get a few training sessions in after 2 short turnarounds. I hoping for an improvement next week.

    I have no recollection of Ryles ever being captain, there were a lot of senior players in the team. But he was obviously an established rep player. Re his management style, he’s a rookie so there’s likely going to be some bumps in the road but all great coaches started off as rookies.

    JdB might be an idiot & a degenerate but he always gives it all for the Dragons. Besides he wasn’t found guilty so there’s no reason for him not to captain the side, he’s a senior player & he’ll step up.

    I look at it this way, we are currently dead last so any game is going to be with a team above us! Anyway win or lose I’m looking for another whole hearted effort & I’ll be happy. I’m expecting de Belin to play 80 minutes & make 50 tackles.
