43479 PAX for the Dogs v Cowboys not long ago. Last known Pax for last Dogs game was 44k the day before the game. Probably more chance of a walkup and members attending. Will be interesting where it lands compared to last week.
If they can presell 30-35k to Australian, NZ and UK fans and pack out the lower bowl, these people are more likely to stay for all 4 games, or atleast the last 3. As they've travelled that distance for the event. Then try to sell 30k-35k to US fans. A couple of events interspersed throughout the...
Imagine if you swapped the ladder positions of:
Titans -> Sharks :D
Rabbitohs -> Sea Eagles
Eels -> Dragons
Likely would have 12 teams at or near 20k+ and little change in the other teams average.
Need these teams + Wests Tigers + Raiders to keep working to get their stadium setups in order to...
They've been doing the same for every level 4 bay. releasing 1st, 3rd, 5th, etc. rows at first, But they have gone through and released the 2nd, 4th, 6th, etc. rows later on. Saw them do that in bay 404 at least.
I guess we'll see on the day, but the PAX and the fact they're selling so deeply...
I'd say equal chances an oversight OR they are trying to funnel sales into the lower bowl GA. Works well either way. Still seem to be selling level 4 quite quickly. So hopefully that means GA is selling even better.
Still also able to get BLUEZONE tickets, wouldn't surprise me if these came...
On the dogs forum, I've seen Pax given as:
Friday night = ~32k
Sunday night = 33,786
This morning = 34,253 (assuming it was this morning)
Looks like sales stalled a little over the weekend, but have picked back up last night into this morning. Hopefully as it's game week we'll see PAX increase...
By the looks with Travel packages, the default is a Silver category ticket. With upgrades to the above for different amounts. Judging by the available tickets, looks like they are selling Gold, Tryzone and Diamond concurrently between Travel packages and General sales. So what's sold in the map...
Las Vegas 2025 as of 3:30pm EST 19/08/24
I created a model last year to keep an eye on ticket sales. Will give an update when it's clearer which tickets are being held back from sale for travel packages, etc.
I got a stadium breakdown of roughly:
Level 1 = 27,000
Level 2 = 8,000
Level 3 =...
75k average in Melbourne too. These Thursday night Melbourne games without any competition are doing fantastic things for the Storm's publicity in Melbourne. 2 more unopposed Thursdays to go against the Cowboys and Broncos. Building nicely for some solid Finals Tv ratings, as it's looking like a...
How good! Realistically looking at 6x Sellouts for the round. Just missing 5-8k at Liechhardt and 10-14k in Melbourne, from a full round of Sellouts. Would have to be pretty close to a record for highest % of capacity for a round. Round 8 this year was 82%.
As said above, presold memberships. As well as having a great atmosphere, means people still want to attend even when they're not doing well. Interested to see how it goes next year. If they can maintain the atmosphere and attendance culture, it's a playbook that every team should try to copy...
Todays game is Sold out (round 21). Next week only has South Stand left (round 22). And their final game (round 25) only has South stand available too. I'd give it 95% chance they get that record.
Post 2/2
Interest Overall on Per Capita basis for past 12 months
Summary: All states and territories recorded highest or equal highest interest in "State of Origin" this year. Only one outside this trend was WA, but this was due to past years having games played and heavily promoted in the...
Google Search Trends Data - Rudimentry but still data. Possibly some noise in other states AFL fans wanting their own State of Origin in AFL - but I believe that feeds into the same thing. They only ever talk about it around Origin time anyway because they want what we have, means they're...
If we get an International Calendar down pat and market it the way it should be. We could be getting another 3-5 games of 1.5-2 Mil every year + Samoa v Tonga - if marketed correctly could be another 1 Mill+ set of fixtures.
Happy to be corrected if i'm misunderstanding, but for comparisons sake, if these figures are correct and the average:
Origin 3 2024 - 3.652 Mil
AFL 2022 GF - 3.06 Mil
AFL 2023 GF - 3.465 Mil
Origin 1 2024 - 3.436 Mil
Origin 2 2024 - 3.26 Mil
Say what you want, but we have 4x GF-esque...
