how does a single newy chick know so much about who's at training & in which team????? what's your role player or coaching staff????? can't believe the number of knights contracted players back in local league??? some others not yet mentioned are mitchell steel & jf 2005 player of yr brendan...

Knights v Eels Jersey Flegg Semi Final

I could not agree more Roopy!!! In previous threads JEN has sung the praise of HUNT (who IMO can't tackle, can't move sideways and is very slow) and now turnaround and say things that McCosker can't do. JEN you must know Hunt really well IMO. Roopy can you work out how Hunt won Flegg Player of...

    Roopy Threads

Cram!!! I am not having a go at Roopy!!!! As I said I enjoy reading his point of view. As we are all entitled to. But sometimes his statements of fact are wrong. An assessment of a player or a game is great, but statements of fact should be supported as SWAMPIE would support.

That's fine!!!!!! Mitchell Steel comes from Taree. Sam Wooden comes from Newcastle. This is just a quick eg......

    Roopy Threads

I am not having a go at Roopy!!!! I really enjoy reading his point of view. Everyone is entitlted to that. But when he gives points [B]AS FACT you have to be able to back up your information.Ther are a lot of people reading these threads who take Roopy's word as gospel.

    Roopy Threads

Roopy!!!!! Just a sugestion! If you are going to start all different threads you should go through the process of answering the different points of view. OR do you only want to let people know what you know whether it is right or wrong.

    The Flegg side

The site maybe unreliable but from other information I have it supports the Knights in 4th position. If you look at the ladder Antonius posted youll see it is a week behind.

    The Flegg side

Antonius!!! According to the NSWRL website the Knights are in 4th position before yesterday. http://www.nswrl.com.au/index.cgi?sID=64. But you still did not make any comment about Hunt.

    The Flegg side

If JEN. and ANT. looked at the NSW RL website you would find the FLEGG SIDE is in 4th position on the ladder. I have noticed you are praising HUNT for his performances in Flegg. It is pretty obvious that you were not at BASS HILL !!! Mr. HUnt missed 3 simple 1 on 1 tackles that led directly...

What about the young guys for next year?

Roopy!!!! I think you will find that McManus and Abel are both still young enough to play Flegg next year but Natnan Hinton is 20 this year. This information is on the Knights website. But I do agree about the re-signing of some "Senior Player" and new players from other NRL Clubs, and the...

    jersey flegg v's sharks

I have been reading this topic and opions seem to vary widely. Hiding 2 players in defence is very hard to do, but you cannot get away with it against good sides or sides with smart coaches. It is true the attack of the Flegg side has dropped with McManus and Abel not being in the centres...

    My thoughts on the games

Roopy!! From my information Abel has been out for approx. 4-5 weeks with a hamstring tear. The game against the Roosters was his first one back and I'm 99% sure he has not signed with anyone else.

Jersey Flegg team for match against Tigers

I don't know who reguarded Dickson so highly last year because as the year went on he spent more time on the bench. In saying that he is still better than Dureau, at least Dickson would try to tackle.

Jersey Flegg team for match against Tigers

The Flegg selectors have nearly got the halves right. Walsh 1/2 back but Abel should be 5/8. Dureau has not performed in 8 games so far and I feel Hunt is the fall guy for him not doing his job. But maybe Hunt should be lock.

Mullen makes the NSW u-19 team.

Roopy!!!!! Ben Farrar is 19 this year and could not be selected in S.G Ball. but you are right that he probably would not have picked in the centres at the knights.

SG Ball Quarter final V Saints

Seu Seu has his leg in a brace, so I don't think he will be in FLEGG this weekend. Walsh should be 1/2 back, Cooper has filled in already as has Barton and Clarke have filled in, but as for the others there would have to be a lot of injuries for them to get a run. (Something the club...

SG Ball Quarter final V Saints

Hey Roopy!!!! I find it hard to believe that any of the BALL team will be in the FLEGG team this weekend. The FLEGG U/20 team are equal leaders while the BALL U/18 team has lost 3 of there last 5 games including last Saturday's 1/4 final loss. The only player from the BALL team who...

    My Junior Knights side 2004

Hey Roopy..... How could you rate Walsh behind Dureau after yesterday's performace. He created more opportunities in the second that he played yesterday than the halfs had created in 5 games this year.

roosters thought there flegg side was good

Terrance Seu Seu would be a maybe for Flegg but Luke Walsh is an absolute deffinate. Even though he is eligable for S.G.Ball he should have been the starting halfback in Flegg this year. He was the starting halfback in the Ball side last year and on Sunday in the second half of the Flegg game he...
