In that instance, i'd probably put some money on him going for a cronulla sutherland side. Me being a young player of a club in the shire [como-jannali], if he were to join my club...

    As greg said, 'No thanks', im sure many of the supporters of the Jets would not want Bird going to Newtown. They have a very proud history as one of the foundation clubs and im sure having a guy like bird on their roster would be somewhat tarnish this.

    No, as it happens, Souths juniors is one of the strongest represent junoir leagues in NSW, so that being the case, its mopst likely the oppisite way round. Plus, as i believe, souths have as many of their junoir players in their first grade side as any other team in the comp that are from NSW
