    Players who don't know the rules

    As a player and ref, I could never understand how blokes couldn't know the rules. Okay, some are obscure and most aren't refs but Cogger, Jenkins and Saifiti should be made to study for their ref's ticket, not one of them had a clue to put a foot out and catch it.

    I was struggling with my tips trying to get a line on what difference, if any, the shorter, narrower field might make and who would handle it better. I had nothing until I read Alex McKinnon's column, he made more sense than anything else I saw so I went with his ideas. Thank you Alex.
